catching up on TV

I've started to watch Orphan Black (again)! I saw the first two episodes awhile back, but it was one of the shows Jade and I were supposed to watch together, and we had so much other stuff going on. That list is never going to be completed, lol. So I'm watching that one on my own.
I really like it so far! I can't believe how much work the lead actress as to do, though. It's like poor Nina Dobrev on The Vampire Diaries. No wonder she got so burned out. At least with Orphan Black it's only 10 eps a season instead of 24. Well, at least the first season is, lol.
I'm sad Damien got canceled because now there's no more Bradley James, and also I would like to see him working regularly. :( But I'm also not sad because I had a lot of issues with the pilot. Not as many issues as I had with Lucifer, but enough that it didn't give me great confidence about where the show was going. I still think they should cast him as Rhaegar Targaryen on GoT. He and Aisling Franciosi would make a great Rhaegar/Lyanna! And he's still unknown enough for them.

adelagia, it turns out that I have a whole lot of issues with it, haha. I mean, threads that are started then go nowhere? The way Gillian whispers all her lines? The way the characters do inappropriate, nonsensical things (and I'm not talking about the serial killing)? And yet, I still really enjoy the show. The best thing about it, surprisingly, is Jamie Dornan. Well, surprisingly for me, because he did NOTHING -- less than nothing -- for me in 50 Shades. But put some scruff on him, let him speak with his Irish accent, and put some darkness in his soul? I'M ALL OVER IT!
Also, I watched all of Gravity Falls, which I enjoyed immensely. It was all because we wanted to know what pairingslitherhither's son ships. :))) We all assumed he shipped Dipper/Wendy, because it's a young boy crushing on an older teenage girl, and he would probably relate to that. ;) After watching, I decided that if I shipped anything, it would be Dipper/Pacifica... and it turns out that that's what he ships! Amazing. It's like a reverse Draco/Ginny. ;)
