The bad news is, the Penny Loves Kenny Tetra shoes are too big.

I've shipped them back via FedEx, which means that, barring a terrible mail snafu, my credit card will actually get money put onto it rather than taken out. I decided not to get a replacement pair with a different size, because I have plenty of other shoes coming and in reality I'd probably never wear those 4"+ heels.
So that's good, because it turns out that I'll have an expense for my Chicago trip that I wasn't planning, due to K.'s spontaneous decision to go to Florida with her family and stay there for awhile -- I was going to park my car at her place, but now I have to either get a shuttle or park my car in a lot near the airport. It also means my mom and aunt don't need to come up at the end of the month (my mom still might, but it's up in the air). Which means I might have gotten the Nook sent to my mom for NO REASON. It also means I have to cancel the fried chicken dinner we were going to do at Spring Hill one last time (it's ending in July and has been booked up for MONTHS, but the co-owner knows us and specially fit us in). I have SUCH feelings of irritation about the whole thing, you don't even know.
OMG my manager just said that his daughter writes fan fiction. *THUD* Me, casually: Oh? Which fandoms? Him: About four different ones. (We were in a meeting with several other people so I didn't press on.)
I am definitely going to get a Kinect. In fact, I've just purchased a game for it (I know, I know! I said no more merchandise! I lied!) -- Dance Central, which is basically like DDR except with Kinect you don't need controllers or a pad or anything, you just dance. I figure I'm way more likely to use it to exercise than anything else, even the Wii Fit, which I find too exercise-y already, and having to hold the controller and/or put it down, back and forth, is kind of a PITA.
Has anyone else played Fable? I LOVED that game. But I haven't played Fable II and Fable III's out also so I really need to catch up.
