sarea: (rose letter)
I'm not a hugely spiritual person, and I am definitely no fan of organized religion, but I think about God and the Grand Plan quite often (are you surprised?), in my own way. I've often thought about posting on the topic, but could never find the right words. Now I don't have to. [livejournal.com profile] ropo just said everything I've ever thought about religion, in a really awesome post you can read here. Robbie and I are very different in a lot of ways, but here's one subject where we are likethis. Give it a read, it's not very long, and maybe at the end of it you'll get that "YES! THAT'S EXACTLY IT!" feeling that I got. : )

Here's the girl's LJ.

So frightening. I mean, I know people, teenagers especially, have issues with their mothers ... I certainly did ... but to bear your own mom that much hatred? Ugh, it's so creepy that she had an LJ. (Though the people who have been commenting there since the incident are terrible ... terribly funny. I know I shouldn't laugh, but some of them are so awful I just can't help it.)

And yet, in a blatant contradiction, Heavenly Creatures is one of my favorite films.

To lighten things up a tad... a quiz: What literature classic I am. It's so accurate, since I *am* all about the rich pretty boys. )
