Favorite Damon quote of the ep: "You know what else was her call? Everything bad ever."
- OMG they actually Went There. They're going to make Elena a vampire?! In season 4?! I mean, unless Bonnie pulls some kind of lame-o magic trick, which I would have huge issue with, considering they haven't tried to unvamp anyone else. And I suppose Elena could choose not to complete the transition and just die -- but I think there's little to no chance of THAT happening.
- OK, so NOW are they actually going to do what happens in the books, wherein Elena wakes up All About Damon? I mean, that doesn't last in the books and I wouldn't expect it to last on the show, but dammit, we deserve some awesome Damon/Elena!
- Can I just say how stupid it is that Stefan wasn't able to save multiple people in both car accidents??? HE'S A VAMPIRE WITH VAMPIRE STRENGTH!! In the first one, he totally could have saved both Elena and her dad! In the second one, Elena was CONSCIOUS and totally could have just swam out herself -- all he'd have to do was free her from the seatbelt! And even if she couldn't, again, he's a fucking vampire! The idea that he wouldn't be able to drag two people through water is just ridiculous. I mean, A REGULAR PERSON would be able to do it, as Jade points out.
- Yay for the stupid doctor woman for "cheating" and giving Elena vampire blood.
- Boooooooooo that Elena dying meant that Ric would die too. :( Oh Matt Davis, I really didn't want you to go.
- So heartbreaking that Elena actually did meet Damon first and he compelled her to forget the meeting. :((((((
- I'm getting pretty tired of the "No wait! Klaus is actually in another person's body!" trick. -.- LAME. Still, I'd rather watch Michael Trevino than Joseph Morgan. Poor Tyler though. Apparently everyone else was worth saving except for him. GRRRR. Maybe that's because Klaus wanted to be in the body of the person who Caroline loved. But why would BONNIE care about that or do that to Caroline? As Jade said though, "Wow, they decided not to choose between Klaus/Caroline and Tyler/Caroline!"
- Yay that Elijah's still around. He's the most reasonable of the Originals. <3
- For 95% of the episode I was pretty much done with the show; Elena had chosen Stefan, Tyler was going to die because Klaus was staked... but then the last 5 minutes were so awesome and now I can't wait for season 3! Though granted that's because I'm hoping they're going to follow the books with regard to what happens to Elena once she wakes. Jade is hoping that she'll remember everything Damon compelled her to forget, which would indeed be great.
