I know just enough about technology to be dangerous. Sigh. I thought I had found the solution to my PC-to-TV challenge, but in thinking some more, I've realized that it's going to work -- and I haven't even gotten the audio splitter that I ordered yet. Luckily I didn't spend that much on the cable. Basically the problem is this... my TV has several inputs -- HDMI, traditional A/V, SD card, and PC. Unfortunately, there's no PC-audio. So I can connect my monitor, but no way to connect sound. The sound has to come from the PC itself, which of course is tinny and nowhere near as good. My solution had been to get an audio splitter that I could plug into the headphone jack on the netbook, with the other end plugged into the audio inputs on the TV. Except I realized that my TV doesn't read from multiple sources at once. In order to switch from my Blu-ray player to DVD to Xbox, etc., I have to make a selection on the TV menu, which tells me which input I want. So when I select PC, it knows to look for my monitor, but as there are no corresponding audio plugs (that I know of or can find), it won't know to look for the audio somewhere else -- and there's no way for me to tell it to. Sooooo I'll double check once I get the splitter, but I'm thinking that either I'll just have to live with the audio coming out of the netbook, or find some other way to do it, if there are other cable converters that would work (like PC/stereo jack-to-HDMI? Or PC/stereo jack-to-A/V?).
If there are any electronics experts out there, I'd love your opinion.
Most BOF fanmade music vids suck, and there are probably not enough Yi Jeong/Ga Eul scenes to make a great vid anyway (with enough variety), but I quite enjoyed this one:
I'm in the midst of my BOF rewatch and seriously,akscully is on crack that she doesn't think Lee Min Ho is attractive. He's no Joe Cheng (of ISWAK), but he's definitely easy on the eyes and makes for a very endearing Jun Pyo/Tsukasa. I may also start Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, because A claims that it will hit all my Draco kinks. But can I really trust the opinion of someone who doesn't find LMH attractive? :))
I have to seriously clean/tidy my house tonight, because I am going to have a visitor tomorrow morning and it needs to look its best. I'm not ready to talk about what's going on yet, as it's still way too in the beginning stages, but I will just say that it has nothing to do with romance.
