Much gacking.

Do I get my membership in the Adults club revoked if I say, "I don't wanna go to bed?" Well, I don't wanna go to bed. The longer I stay up, the farther away work is. Don't try and argue with my logic!
Look at this hot pic of Draco and Ginny that
tiny_q drew!! But make sure there are no kiddies around first, because GINNY SEEMS TO HAVE FORGOTTEN HER TOP. Scandalous! :D
My flight was delayed by an hour and a half yesterday, which gave me plenty of time to read/finish Every Boy's Got One. It was a fun read like all of Meg's books, but somehow less satisfying than the others. The romance came about and concluded rather abruptly, which almost seems silly to complain about since a lot of romances do this and many of Meg's books in particular, but I dunno, I was just not there with her. I was okay with the entire book being a Mary Sue, since she didn't Mary Sue herself as the heroine, but it also makes me think that writing it couldn't have been all that difficult. Still, the best thing about it is what's always good about Meg's books: they're entertaining and fun, and make me laugh and feel good. So really, I'm just glad she's around.
I have just cut myself while preparing food. There is now a ragged flap of skin over my knuckle, where smooth, unmarred skin used to be. Gross.

Date: 2005-01-10 12:03 pm (UTC)4) Braveheart - the chick is telling the king that she's carrying a Scottish bastard. :))
6) Dogma - Jason Lee getting righteously indignant
10) Sense and Sensibility, Elinor letting Marianne know that just because you're not a drama queen doesn't mean you don't have feelings.
16) X-Files, the movie. I think this was when Scully seemed like she was dead and then managed to come out of it in order to taunt Mulder.

5) There better be a damn bathtub scene.
7) If only he'd been the lead in National Treasure. It would have been like a brotherly reunion.
13) The devil is everywhere! *clap* Where? Randy. What? The colors. The devil is everywhere! *clap*
16) "And then she never had a sense of humor again. Ever. And only had one this time for the mass-audience appeal."
22) Cordelia is perfectly cast. But not Spike.
24) I'm still a little surprised this movie was so good, and it didn't even have a lesbian serial killer. And that we saw it on the same trip as 25. Nice unconscious placement, Captain.
25) POOR SUPERMAN.

2) Stupidest. Suicide. Ever.
4) Really? Brian Cox? *Really*?
6) If only all of Ben's roles were as well-delivered as this one. Is that really so much to ask? Is it? IS IT? Apparently it is.
8) Also should've won the Oscar. Savvy?
10) Did you check? Does your DVD have all the special features?
12) *wheels about in Chariot* PARIS!!
14) Badly done, Sarea; badly done.
15) PHEE-BEE. (Oh, you've got to reach for this one. See, even my answers are like a game within a game.)
17) It was so Christian/Puppy OTP.
20) I'm not a bitch.
23) I cannot tell you what this quote is from. You have to see it for yourself.

Date: 2005-01-10 01:40 pm (UTC)2. is Robin Williams in Dead Poets Society, to his class (Robert Sean Leonard, Ethan Hawke, et. al.)
3. is Annette Bening in American Beauty.
6. is Dogma, which I've never actually seen.
8. is Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) in Pirates of the Caribbean... right?
Is 9 Geoffrey Rush in Quills? (to Kate Winslet?)
14. is Knightley in Emma -- just watched that the other day. (Oooh.. as well as Sense and Sensibility.. is that number 10? Emma Thompson?) (to Emma and and Marianne, I think.)
19 is Seabiscuit.. is it a conversation between Woolf and Howard? Woolf TO Howard?
22. is the Baroness to Maria in The Sound of Music.
I have suspicions about a couple others, but these were the ones I was most sure of. :)

6. Dogma. I think it's Azriel speaking.
10. Sense and Sensibility. Elinor.
I think I'll skip the "Rent" movie. Columbus is cutting some songs (Christmas Bells is one of them) and I just know he's going to fuck up this musical for me, and I can't stand it.

1) "Well, that's good. That's good because we don't need you! We don't need you! All those words you said, those were mine." - 'Newsies' (I loooove that movie)
3) "I will sell this house today." - 'American Beauty'
4) "But before death comes to you, know this: your blood dies with you. A child who is not of your line grows in my belly. Your son will not sit long on the throne. I swear it." - 'Braveheart'
7) "If I should return... think better of me, Father." - LotR: TTT (*swoons* while thinking of Faramir)
10) "...had I not been bound to silence I could have produced proof enough of a broken heart, even for you." - 'Sense and Sensibility'
11) "Learned a new word today. 'Atom bomb.' It was like God taking a photograph." - 'Empire of the Sun'
23) "Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind." - 'The Matrix'
And #21 is on the tip of my tongue! ACK! Hmmmm... answering only 7 seems pretty poor... some of the others sound familiar too, but I'm drawing blanks! Double ACK! :-)
*hugs*
