Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] annibug for this cool scrollbar code thingy. And now I shall abuse it by writing a reaaaaaaaalllllllly long entry (or by spelling 'really' really long).

It suxors to be [livejournal.com profile] jade_okelani, because it means you left me with all of the Tim Tams we were supposed to share. I suppose I could package some of them up and send them to you ... I could. But I won't. Hahahahhahaa. *eats one. slowly.*

I've written two more drabbles for [livejournal.com profile] malfoy100 -- my goal is to have something for each challenge (so, at least one a week). I'm often too verbose in my writing, and I'd like to practice the technique of being succinct. But sometimes I get frustrated that something beautiful/meaningful in my head comes out sounding choppy/trite because of the limited number of words I can use. Or, it might just be my writing. Here's "Recognition" and "The Spy," both at the same link.

We're reading Good Omens at [livejournal.com profile] literocracy, and I love it. YAY for Literocracy voters.

Gmail accounts: Like everyone else, I have a billion invites now. Six, a billion, it's all the same. So if you're one of the last hold outs and would like Gmail, let me know. I'd like to benefit people who I at least vaguely know through my journal first before offering up to random people on the street. :D

And lastly, I feel compelled to share 10 of my favorite albums of all time, so here they are (in no particular order):

- Unearthed, e.s. posthumus
- Silence, Tara MacLean
- Purple, Stone Temple Pilots
- Dookie, Green Day
- Fumbling Toward Ecstasy, Sarah McLachlan
- Hybrid Theory, Linkin Park
- Let Go, Avril Lavigne
- New Miserable Experience, Gin Blossoms
- Decade, Duran Duran
- The Visit, Loreena McKennitt

I'm at work, so I am also on a beeyootiful 19" flat screen. I don't think it actually has anything to do with the problem. <g>

It works/looks perfect on mine. I've tried manipulating browser size, etc. Maybe it's our screen resolutions. Mine is set at 1280 x 1024 currently...

I'm guessing that it's because I use a different LJ style than you do... I have the icon in the top right of the entry, where I think you have it outside it, right? So it wouldn't affect yours.

See?

Ahhh. Yeah, that did it. I wonder if there's a way to work around that, or if this is just one of the limitations. Damn. I'm gonna try and figure it out. Damn your eyes.

Edit: Yeah, I've 'fixed' it now. Except it looks lame on my own journal, with all that blank space. Guess I won't be using this feature again. SIGH.

Still looks the same for me, but anyway, it was just ... an *extra* scrollbar, when I already have one. Y'know?

send the tim tams
