Have you guys, in recent months, noticed a certain tendency mynuet has shown wrt our beloved Draco? Yes, I am talking about torture. I am talking about inhumane treatment of a character. I am talking UST -- primarily the U part. Yes, I am talking about lack of nookie.

And now -- now, I bring before you the evidence of her treachery, the plan she's had for Draco all along (poor guy!!!), revealed in YM. I'm probably breaking all sorts of Internet rules by posting this, and she'll probably never share anything with me again, but I feel we have a right to know the truth!!!

Draco stood in the shadows, frozen by the sight of his recently ex-girlfriend being seated at a table, giving every appearance of thoroughly enjoying herself. She looked as she always had, gorgeous, vibrant, her head thrown back with laughter before she leaned in and laid her hand over her date's arm, her lips grazing his ear as she whispered something, just as she'd whispered to Draco a thousand thousand times, only this time it wasn't him. Her low, amused voice wasn't whispering to him, her breath wasn't stirring his hair and his pulse rate. It was instead doing the same to Harry fucking Potter, the Boy Who Pissed the Hell out of Draco, who didn't appear to be objecting in the slightest. No, the stupid sod had a gigantic grin on his idiotic face as his hand slipped under the table and did something which made Ginny squeal and slap his arm playfully.

STOP THE DRACO TORTURE! IT'S MADNESS!!!

Obviously, Ginny knows he's watching and is playing it up for his benefit. She doesn't really give a fig about Harry. *wibble* Draco steps in soon and drags her away so they can have sex in the coat closet or something. That's what happens in my version of events.

Edit: It's out in the open now!! I don't have to keep defending my stance; Shar has revealed it for the whole world to see here!! I was right all along!

It's been ages since SB nookie, and poor Draco didn't even have a very good showing. It's implied that Ginny didn't even, ahem, arrive. Since then, it's been nothing but blue balls. Okay, maybe one small bit of relief ... but this isn't just about SB (which is a novel, unlike the Ladybug drabble, so the torture is exponential). It's also about 'The Cutting Edge' drabble, and that when I v. nicely brought up the suggestion to The Evildoer that Draco might be feeling a little frustrated, her response was even more torture! Ginny on a date with Harry, letting him do God knows what to her under the table! Let's see you continue to defend these facts!

And that drabble was D/G, only inspired by TCE. So he had his chance, but he was a gentleman about it, and thus will be getting more nookie in the future.

But that was, you know, before. But FINE, I'll concede on this point. It does not, however, make a dent in the primary issue at hand, which is everything that's happened since then.

Oh, you mean like the entirety of the Cabana Boy series, the Doppelganger fic, the anniversary fic, and quite a few others that were written LONG after I wrote the above scene, last year? Because a good chunk of SB was written pre-OotP.

All right, you do have a point, but at the same time your hands aren't exactly clean. You do have a bit of Draco torture on them, admit it. :P
