[livejournal.com profile] megh and [livejournal.com profile] mynuet are people who make wishes come true. They ROCK.

Some of you might recall that on March 1 I mused on how D/G needed/deserved "its own site, where writers can register and post their D/G-oriented fic," mostly in a pie-in-the-sky way. So then you will understand how absolutely THRILLED I am by the fact that such an archive now exists. Meg and Shar made it happen! The Fire and Ice Archive is now open. Squeeeeee! I'll be posting all my applicable stories there, and basically abandoning my accounts in other places. Now I can bother with fewer archives. Tell all your friends! This will be a one-stop shop for all your D/G needs.

I finally saw Monster. Charlize fully deserved that Oscar. I don't know how they made someone that beautiful look that unattractive, but it was just ... wow.

I wanted to wish [livejournal.com profile] sydney_lynne a very happy belated birthday. I don't know why LJ has disabled the friends' birthday alerts, and I basically only know when it's someone's bday when someone else says it first. So I'm very, very sorry I missed it, d00d.

[livejournal.com profile] muffinbutt, I got your note on FA. TSA has not been abandoned; I just suck.

AtS: Time Bomb

Uhhhhhhhh ... okay. <g>

I guess I found Ilyria (howTF do you spell her name, anyway) interesting? I didn't really get the time stuff, or how Angel was involved, or what they did to Ilyria or how. Or maybe it's just that I didn't really care. Oh, she was a demon and used to rule the world. Oh, now she can't stop time and she's a little less strong. And I care because...?

Gunn got out of the hell dimension. Yay. Through a means that was pretty damn obvious and probably should have occurred to someone long before this, but fine, whatever.

Angel came to some kind of conclusion that I'm not really sure I understand, but again, I don't really care. I know we were supposed to be all shocked or whatever at his decision in the end to let that woman give up her baby to the demon cult and to serve Wolfram & Hart like a good little toadie, even though we know he's probably got something else up his sleeve. But I felt completely indifferent to it all.

It wasn't actually a bad episode, pace-wise or writing-wise ... I just have no interest in anything that's going on at the moment. It's just not compelling.

Even the preview for next week's episode whetted my interest only a little bit. I am in Connor withdrawal, I think.

Favorite line: "Now's not really the time for 'when you were muck' stories!"

Next week, we're reading The Mists of Avalon at [livejournal.com profile] literocracy. Woohoo!

Edit: Possibly spoilery picture for Smallville that Jade found:

OMG! Lex and Lana or Michael and Kristin? Really, either way: Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Oh! :)

Well, I think it's lovely, and I don't think you suck.
