I'm waaaaaay far behind on my journaling. :/ I was doing OK with keeping up, and then KCON NY and a bunch of other stuff happened and now I'm overwhelmed again.

[personal profile] adelagia and I were actually in Anchorage, Alaska, on a writing trip, when I wrote this. We were supposed to be working on our book, but instead I'm used some of that time to catch up on the oppa entries, because there were seriously so many I needed to write. (There are also non-oppa entries I need to do, but I prioritized the oppa ones.)

So... PRIOR to KCON NY, we had an oppa outing that I am calling #11. I think that's what it is.

The outing was with Sungjae oppa, who accompanied us to Gyu-kaku (as per the usual, though now it's been months since we've been).

Then we went to a nursery where I bought some tomato and pepper plants, and we headed back to my place, because my backyard is dooooooooooone!! It looked sooooooo beautiful when it was finished, I was incredibly happy with it. Now I'm sorting out watering schedules and all that, so hopefully I can keep it looking nice. Anyway, I planted the tomatoes and peppers into the small raised bed I had them build for me, and then we "chilled" outside for a bit. Chilled being in quotations because it was actually really hot that day.

I was able to harvest some raspberries (tart but deliciously strong in raspberry flavor) and goji berries (surprisingly sweet).

Also, apropos of nothing, I had tried out a new nail powder the night before and really liked it. It was the "unicorn" powder, which gives a metallic shine/glow to white nail polish. I really liked it.

While we were out there, [personal profile] adelagia got a notice that the clogs she ordered from the UK finally arrived! So we stopped by her place so she could get them and I could try them on too (in order to know what size to get for the ones I want to order for myself!).

After that, we headed to Federal Way for an early dinner. We tried a new place, Topoki Pocha. It's inside a grocery store. While Adelagia ordered for us, I went to the grocery store to look for Homerun Ball, Jinyoung's favorite snack. I couldn't find it initially in the snack aisle, but finally was able to locate it in a big stack in a separate location. Woohoo!

We both enjoyed the dish, but it wasn't really anything to write home about. It was basically instant ramen with tteokbokki and some simple ingredients. With the remaining sauce, they make a fried rice with it, and you can customize that how you like, as well. We chose to get it with cheese. It just didn't seem that extraordinary, and if you wanted to, you could easily make a casserole/hot pot dish like this at home.

After that, we went to Comma Karaoke and sang songs! We tried new GOT7 and JJ Project songs, which were fun but also went terribly. LOL. I have to say, I wasn't a big fan of doing noraebang on a full stomach. I just didn't seem to have the same energy. In dramas, they always go out to noraebang after a team dinner, and late evening is also when it costs more because it's a more popular time to do it, but I didn't like doing it after I ate, at all! I much prefer doing it beforehand.

While at noraebang I busted open one of the Homerun Ball packages, and they're like small little dry bread balls with chocolate inside. I mean, they were okay? I don't know why Jinyoung likes them so much, lol. But when we are together, I will let him eat them all, and then he will be happy and so will I.
