O->----< <---- yet another stick figure
Mar. 19th, 2004 04:24 pmFinal results of the Coke vs. Pepsi showdown: Coke 15; Pepsi 6. And given that some of the Pepsi "votes" were rigged, I think it's a landslide win for Coke. Alas. Percentage wise, it came out to 71% and 29%, respectively, which is a little bit higher for Pepsi than the national American average. Still, the results are close enough that it actually made this a pretty interesting experiment. I love you guys who participated!!! Indulging social experiments rawks!
How my brackets are doing: So far, I've got 22 wins (and Jade has 16, although her projected champion Arizona lost last night, so her bracket's busted), and the furthest I've been "screwed" is the Sweet 16, which I had predicted Florida would make. But otherwise I'm looking pretty decent. We'll see what tonight's games will do.
I was stuck nearly all day at this professional development seminar. When the guy started drawing stick figures on the white board it took great discipline not to lose it completely.
Edit: I haven't seen anyone mention this USA Today article. Could it be the R/Hr mentions? Like:
Hermione gets to wear jeans and — ugh — hold hands with Ron.
When Hermione takes Ron's hand in a scene, Watson makes a quintessential 13-year-old grimace. The movie called for "some embarrassing hugging to be done. With Ron (Rupert Grint). We have kind of a love-hate relationship."
