September Birchbox

So... I don't know what's going on. Birchbox did just send out my September box, apparently, which means that the first box I got was... just a first box, not associated with any month. Maybe it's always the first box sent out...? I have no idea. Maybe that explains why it was so good, lol.
Anyway, apparently THIS is what's in my September Birchbox -- it's on its way, so I haven't used any of it yet.
There are apparently seven samples this month, so that's cool. My overall impression of the box, without having used anything yet, is that it's OK. More useful than the Ipsy box imho.
- Privai Nourishing Face & Body Oil
I guess this is like one of those "put oil on your face and go to bed like that" things, much like the Josie Maran Argan Oil thingy I have. I don't mind having something like this -- I'll use it -- but I'm usually too lazy to do it every night.
- Milk Makeup Highlighter
Ehhhh. I don't really know how to use highlighters, and even if I did, I'm not sure I have the face/skin for it.
- Benefit They're Real! Tinted Lash Primer
Possibly a draw with the highlighter as to which is more useless. I don't wear mascara because I have stubby, barely there lashes, so all it does is give me raccoon eyes when it inevitably runs.
- Davines Naturaltech Replumping Hair Filler Superactive - For All Hair Types
I've never heard of a hair plumper before, but I'm intrigued to try it!
- Davines Naturaltech Replumping Shampoo - Elasticizing and Hydrating for All Hair Types
I'm always up for trying a new shampoo.

Cleansers are always something I welcome. Love trying new ones. And one that will supposedly lessen the appearance of pores? I'm in!
According to my account info, apparently the other box I got was the August box. They just managed to ship it out to me super fast, before the month was over. Points to them for efficiency, since Ipsy was not able to do the same!
