I had intended to finish S1 of Orphan Black last night, but time got away from me and I didn't. I did watch ep 9, though...

- Okay, so Kira has healing factor like Wolverine, lol. I'm relieved. The little girl is cute, and I didn't want to have to deal with a moping, depressed Sarah.

- The big reveal in this ep is that Sarah and Helena have the same birth mother. Which... doesn't really mean anything, right? She was their birth mom, but isn't their bio mom? I couldn't really tell from what she said, but it was left open for that to be the case... that she just carried the babies to terms, but they were probably made in a petri dish (I'm assuming). In any case, it's cute and all that they shared a womb, but they're not actually twins, right? I can't remember enough of the details they've shared to remember if Helena also has the same kind of identical DNA (other than the barcode marker) as the rest of the clones. If she does, then she and Sarah are clones who happened to share a womb, and not twin sisters.

- I'm not sure I understand why Helena, given to the church, was able to be found and corrupted so easily, while Sarah, given to the state, was somehow able to escape detection for all those years.

- Also, it still begs the question of why Sarah is special, why she's able to have children...

- Does this mean Helena could also? Assuming the scientists who implanted them did similar things to them?

- How are we even to trust that the woman who's showed up claiming to be their birth mother really IS who she says she is? Given everything they've learned, is it plausible that they'd just accept her word as truth?

- I still don't get Leekie's motivations/end game.

- I wanted to throw my arms up in disgust when Delphine was like, "I didn't want to fall for you... but I did." First of all, SHE WASN'T GAY. Now she just "turns" gay? I fucking hate TV portrayal of sexuality. It's just like when Willow "turned" gay... she's not fucking gay, she's bisexual!!!!! And I guess it's possible Delphine just never realized she was bi, but still, they didn't show that to us; they just showed her doing what she had to do in order to get to the information she needed. God. Anyway, I was rolling my eyes through all this, because it's not like they've spent that much time together that I even believe they could be in love -- my exact same issue with the Sarah/Paul ship. I just don't believe that everyone the clones encounter just automatically fall in love with them and have their best interests at heart! Grr!

- I'm really interested to see what's going to happen on the police side of things, now that they know "Beth" is an imposter and they're really looking for Sarah. They know about Felix and they know about Mrs. S., so something has to give. Either Art has to be let in on the secret and he'll help them, or... well, that's really the only option. It would be too suspicious if all the cops who know about it were to suddenly die or something. So one or more of the cops have to be let in on the secret and come up with a convincing coverup story.
