Now I have to confess to another handbag.
This time it's the Marc Jacobs "Wellington" goatskin satchel, in Ivory
I'm actually not generally a big fan of Marc Jacobs, but I really liked how classy this handbag looked.
The problem? I don't wear ANYTHING that would remotely be appropriate for it. This bag really needs the right "professional woman" outfit to go with it, and I just never wear anything like that. I could probably pull it off even wearing jeans, if I had a nice top and wore high heels. Maybe.
Also, the goatskin feels surprisingly nice. It doesn't seem to be common material, and doesn't sound sexy, but it's supple and I actually prefer it to my calfskin Chloé Paraty.
