the shopping landslide is all Jade's fault
May. 7th, 2014 03:05 pmNext up on the shopping confessional is a beanie. Not what you expected, right?
This is probably the last purchase I made under a "normal" mindset. At least, it's the last time I can remember really hemming and hawing over buying something. At that time,

She probably didn't realize the floodgates of shopping bingeing were going to be opened right around the corner. I'm not blaming her, exactly? But maybe it's totally her fault? LOL. Just kidding.
Here's the beanie:

That's the 2103 Seahawks on-field beanie made by New Era. Seahawks gear was in extremely high demand this last year (gee, I wonder why), and the NFL being completely lame and not on top of things at all, wasn't able to meet demand. Beanies of all kinds were sold out everywhere, including online. This particular beanie was not only sold out online, it was also unlikely to be restocked in an official capacity, since the 2013 season was over. It retailed for around $20-25; sellers on eBay were asking upwards of $80 for it.
For weeks I balked at the idea of paying $80 for a beanie, and then just went, eff it.
Here's the obligatory celeb shots, LOL:

Richard Sherman (today signed an extension for four more years!!!)

Russell Wilson (Seattle's newest most-eligible bachelor)
