There are several things that delight me at the moment:

1) Johnny Depp winning the SAG award for Best Actor in PotC.

2) I am so close to being done w/ my part of IYOK5.

3) These "X-Files Kids" comics, which rawk. Comic 1, 2, 3, and 4. They're by the same person who did that HP Personality thing that's been going around. I do not know how people draw. But I am in awe of such talent.

4) The cabbage_capers community, which has shared many yummy recipes for an amateur cook like me. I really recommend the Athenian dip, shrimp scampi and almond rice, and pot roast recipes. I haven't had enough time to try everything else. <g>

5) kirixchi has finished "The Pleasure of Your Company," her ongoing (well, not anymore) LJ WIP. I wish I had a link to share w/ you, but until she posts it in its entirety somewhere, the only place to find it is her LJ, I think.

6) The icon my brother made. I am not a Mac fan. Recently a friend converted to the power of the PC, and it made me so. happy.

7) This Snapeybot chat. I conversed with him as if I were Ginny.

You: All right. It's, um, Draco Malfoy.
snapeybot: Why, what did you hear?
You: Nothing. I'm just telling you who I have inappropriate feelings for.
snapeybot: Not a thing? Only just? it is an interesting topic, isn't it.
You: Well, I like to think so.
snapeybot: Interesting. I am not sure if I would find it satisfying to do it. what is it like?
You: I haven't done anything yet. That's why I've come to you.
snapeybot: Just so long as I enjoy it, nothing else matters.
You: Okay. So would you enjoy seeing me and Draco together?
snapeybot: *Appears vaguely intrigued*
You: That's very helpful. Thanks!
snapeybot: *Eyes glint faintly.* Very well, then.

We're in full agreement re: JD. Sean Penn winning it would highly piss me off -- overrated in the extreme. Why do idiots keep calling him the best actor of our generation?? WTF???

The only thing is that there are many, many Academy voters who do not vote for SAG (which, for an actor, would probably be considered an even more prestigious award). I am not well versed in these things, Jade could probably say more on the topic, but we know several people who have votes through ropo and they're not actors all at. And alas, one of them is convinced Master and Commander was the only movie worth voting for Best Picture this year. Honestly.

:O!! Of course I read it. You're so silly. I think I left feedback for you not two installments ago. However, I have been remiss at leaving feedback for the whole thing, so let me say that it was a highly enjoyable ride, start to finish. I imagine it's really hard to post regularly and keep things interesting enough each installment to make it worth the effort, as well as having to keep the plot going and the romance compelling. You did it somehow, and what a lovely story it turned out to be. : ) I don't think I could write something every day. That would be a great goal, but ... yeah, don't see it happening. <g> Perhaps I should test these limits of mine. But as you've pointed out, I have long-neglected projects to attend to, so that probably shouldn't be something to think about. As for TSA, it's been six freaking months, so I feel like I've committed it to the depths, too. It's so depressing.
