Guess what? 13oct has posted that Clint/Natasha is her new OTP and she wanted recs.

Ahem. No, really, it is just very exciting to ship things with one's friends. Y'all agree with that, right? This is probably the first ship since... [Many great moments in this fic, though it's a little weak in tying it all together into something coherent. I know they're like snapshots, but I still would have preferred to see it tie in to something larger.]

Then, separate but related, there is my deep and abiding love for Jeremy Renner. I've recently discovered that he can SING and play the PIANO, so asadelagia knows, this means it is all over. There's no going back from this obsession now.
I recently rewatched The Hurt Locker, which is what made Jeremy an A-list star, and I was reading reviews on the movie. One of them waxed on: In "Locker," as James tries to defuse that bomb, we focus close-up on his muscular arms, flexing as he works. Contrasting corded veins with the IED's lethal plastic lines, Bigelow emphasizes the beauty and awful vulnerability of his flesh. Perhaps, with Hitchcockian perversity, she's also hinting that our hungry eyes feed on just such vulnerability and potential violence every time we take in an action movie.
All I could think was: Dude, fandom can and has put that far more succinctly: JEREMYRENNERSARMS
Seriously, as other JR fans know, there is a lot to like about him. I mean, to be totally shallow, specifically I mean in a physical sense. It's not like I KNOW him so it has to be fairly shallow, right? (I know, that's kind of a terrible defense but the only one I've got.) >.> Anyway, as much as there is to like about HIS FACE, for instance, JR's most stunning asset is his arms. He has ridiculously attractive arms. Hence all the fangirl usernames that use variations of JEREMYRENNERSARMS. I don't know what it is! I mean, he's in a movie with all these other beautiful male specimens, and Chris Hemsworth has a beautiful body that basically stuns all who look upon it, but most of the fabulous-looking muscular biceps on well-built men are generically good looking. Jeremy's arms, on the other hand... are extra super attractive. Again, I don't know what it is. And it's not just his biceps. Even his forearms are like... the sexiest forearms in existence. Witness:
