In honor of March Madness, leigh_adams over at ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
hp_humpdrabbles is running a bracket challenge. Except instead of basketball it's writing HP fic. And instead of a ball it's smut (or rather, PG-13 and up). And instead of baskets it's drabbles. Basically, one writer gets pitted against another writer each round, their drabbles are anonymously posted, and the winner goes on to the next round until there's one writer left (single elimination). I know, doesn't it sound like SO MUCH FUN??? She's still looking for a few participants, so this is your chance to participate in March Madness, HP style! :P
I've signed up, despite not having written a single word in approximately 1 million years /Dr. Evil because:
1) I obviously cannot resist brackets of any kind (I need to see someone about this sickness);
2) It's actually a very small commitment. Every participating writer has to write at least 1 drabble, with a maximum of 5. And the drabbles are between 100-500 words! Even I can do that with a minimum of hair pulling!;
3) It'll be a good way to write those mini-scenes that pop into my head every once in awhile that wouldn't actually amount to a real story;
and
4) IT IS A BRACKET. And sounds super fun. And involves HP and kissing and stuff.
All pairings/threesomes/etc. are welcome, with a few exceptions, as long as there's an HP character involved. Sign ups are here, but obviously read the rules and FAQ before actually signing up so you know exactly what you're getting into. I don't know why you wouldn't just trust my word on it, but it's probably best. ;) Or, you know, if you want to just read the drabbles and vote, join the community. That's allowed. :P
