1) If you're going to a meet-the-author thing, and there's going to be around 30 people there, and it's company-sponsored so it's not like these are going to be the author's greatest fans in the world, how many books do you think you could get signed without it seeming rude/greedy? And are paperbacks (trade) even worth getting signed? I'm leaving in about 45 min. for the Meg Cabot thing so insight here would be v. appreciated.

2) Why is it that when you open a new box of tissue, they always put two tissues in the first pull?

The illustration was, indeed, amazing. She's so talented! I haven't gotten a chance to read the semi-smut yet, but Steph's a lucky gal!!

Honestly, re: Tom Robbins. I'm not a huge TR fan, and in fact have yet to finish a novel by him. This insight into his personality does not make me want to run out and do that, however.

I wasn't fond of him before and now I really don't like him. He's very full of himself. We have his papers - he made us pay $50,000 for his stupid manuscripts just because he attended my college. If the little fans only knew what he was really like...he dismissed me like I was non existent. They come in, fawning over his handwritten notebooks and extolling how wonderful he is - if they only knew.

Now, Sherri Reynolds - delightful gal! Don't like her writting, but she's very nice!! David Robbins spoke last year, he's a delight, very funny to boot.
