Photo challenge round one, complete!
Aug. 29th, 2009 01:15 amOkay, the first round of
jade_okelani's photo challenge is over, so our photos can be shared! In order to make the photos digestable on LJ I've shrunk them down, but really you should click on them to see the bigger versions for a much better experience. :D
Here were my challenges and photos:
Challenge #1: Cigarettes

Do cigarettes have souls? If so, where do they go when they die?
Challenge #2: Iced Tea

Too late, Earl realized that coffee cartel lord "One Bean" Tony's offer to ice his cousin wasn't a promise but a threat.
Challenge #3: Sunflower Seeds

Mulder relaxing at home after a hard day of conspiracy theorying and alien chasing.
(Funny story about this one; I actually went to buy sunflowers because I didn't think I could get the photo I wanted without doing that. Though possibly the store would have been totally cool about it, who knows? As I went home, I had them in the passenger seat, feverishly thinking of ways to sneak them past Robbie, who was in the house. As I was driving up my street, SHE PASSED BY in her rented car, and I had to THROW the flowers down onto the floor of the car and be like, "Hey!! What's up dude!" Luckily sunflowers are a hardy flower.)
ropo's challenges and photos:
Challenge #1: Suit

Challenge #2: Root Beer

Challenge #3: Gold Cross

Puzzle answer: The X-Files! Now, some of you might be wondering how I could have not gotten the answer after my clue #2. Well, my XF knowledge is rusty. VERY rusty. In fact, not only did I not get it, I had NO CLUE and was so frustrated I emailed Jade and was like, "Are you going to give us hints, like categories, the way Wheel of Fortune does?! Because I HAVE NO IDEA." But the picture (pun not intended, but I'll take it) became much clearer after sunflower seeds.
