In which that bitch
jade_okelani interviews me.
Aug. 31st, 2003 02:37 pmWhat the hell this is, and how you can play.
1 -- Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 -- I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 -- You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 -- You'll include this explanation.
5 -- You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
As far as I'm concerned, people who have already been interviewed by other people can still apply. After all, my questions will (hopefully) be different. Or if for some bizarre reason you still want to ask me questions after this, I will applaud your bravery and answer them.
1. You have just learned you won the lottery and are now a millionaire. What's the first 5 things you do?
1. Get new friends who are more like having actual best friends than dogs. (Thank you, Georgia Nicolson.)
2. Get someone to train my psychotic demon dog.
3. Hire a full-time manicurist/pedicurist.
4. Hire
gnrationfo to clean for me,
jade_okelani to slave in front of a computer all the time writing D/G fics, and
ropo to ... hmm ... there must be something she can do, surely. Spend the rest of my money for me?
5. Buy a pony and turn him into Seabiscuit.
2. What music are you currently inspired by?
Punk rock. I'm not sure why. I didn't lead the hard life that punk rock music is all about, and in fact am the kind of person it denigrates much of the time, but it really speaks to me. Probably because even though I lead a yuppie lifestyle, I'm quite aware of its lameness (even though I also am that kind of person ... but being able to make fun of myself is a good thing, right?). I think the music expresses a general dissatisfaction with life that really does speak to me. And maybe I like hearing the commentary on a kind of life I know nothing about, because it's so different from mine. I don't know.
3. If cost weren't a factor, where would you like to go on vacation/who with/for how long? What would you do?
I'd love to go to Europe (specifically London) with a bunch of fic friends. We'd all do our own thing in little manageable groups, but we'd be able to meet up for group fun, like dinners and theatre and pubs and such. Would be such a blast.
4. Do you blame your family, or life in general, for making you such a bitch?
I blame you, actually. If you didn't do insipid things all the time, I wouldn't have to have the burden of righting your many wrongs.
5. What do you love the most about me?
That you have the good sense to be friends with me. That and because we can read each other's minds. It's like being friends with myself, which, let's face it, is only a good thing.
Am now opening TSA file. *prays for writing binge*

Date: 2003-08-31 03:35 pm (UTC)1. What heroine from a novel/movie/TV show are you most like? Who do you want to be like?
2. What's the one thing you've always wanted to do, but haven't done yet?
3. Choose one: Monopoly or Life? Buffy or Faith? Pepsi or Coke? Harry or Draco? Star Wars or Lord of the Rings? House or apartment? Vodka or tequila?
4. How'd you get into HP/fandom? How do your fic tastes run?
5. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and who would you want as neighbors?
And now to address the entry itself...
Date: 2003-08-31 02:50 pm (UTC)I just don't know how you continue to live with this endless burden that is your life. This is obviously why you like the punk music.
gnrationfo to clean for me, jade_okelani to slave in front of a computer all the time writing D/G fics, and ropo to ... hmm ... there must be something she can do, surely. Spend the rest of my money for me?
That's just how it would be.
5. Buy a pony and turn him into Seabiscuit.
But that's the best answer ever.
I blame you, actually. If you didn't do insipid things all the time, I wouldn't have to have the burden of righting your many wrongs.
But why were you such a bitch before we met? Or were you not, and your bitchiness was simply instantaneous the moment we met? I'm really fascinated.
That you have the good sense to be friends with me. That and because we can read each other's minds. It's like being friends with myself, which, let's face it, is only a good thing.
The secret of our friendship: REVEALED!
I'm down with the European vacation. London in '05!
Re: And now to address the entry itself...
Date: 2003-08-31 03:40 pm (UTC)It's because I have endless reserves of strength, wisdom, and tranquility.
But why were you such a bitch before we met? Or were you not, and your bitchiness was simply instantaneous the moment we met? I'm really fascinated.
Given that you didn't know me before we met, I don't see why you assume I was a bitch before. Do you see the inherent contradiction in your question, Jade Okelani? I believe I always had it in me to be a bitch, and perhaps I was one, but no one
dared confront me about itever said anything. This leads me to believe that I was perfectly nice until you happened along with your asinine ways, and I had to break out the can of whoop ass.In dealing with you, I must channel Phoebe Buffay: Don't make me do this again...I DON'T LIKE MY VOICE LIKE THIS!!

Date: 2003-08-31 04:40 pm (UTC)1. I've asked other people this, but I don't see why that matters since people will all answer differently ... What heroine from a novel/TV show/movie are you most like? Who do you want to be like?
2. Who's your favorite HP character?
3. If you could have any talent that you don't already possess, what would it be?
