I like being a girl.

I'm not gonna lie. I smell really good right now.

I have spent a ton of money recently on bath products. This is all, as you might have guessed, jade_okelani's fault. Well, it's really her mom's fault. OK let's just say it's both of their faults and spread the blame around a little bit. They introduced me to Beekman 1802, and if it were possible to fall in love with a soap and want to marry it, that is what has happened with me and their goat milk soap in honeyed grapefruit scent. It smells DIVINE. I actually have a soap wrapper sitting on my desk that I can't bear to throw away because it smells too good. Every so often, I pick it up and sniff it. IF THAT'S WEIRD, I DON'T WANT TO BE UN-WEIRD.

If this were all, I might be able to walk away with my head held high. But... then... it led me down a dark path, to... beauty box subscriptions. *SOB* I just want surprise makeup, skincare, and hair product samples every month! Is that so wrong? People online seemed torn between Birchbox and Ipsy, with both sides swearing up and down that one is better than the other. Finally, I got sick of researching it, and was like, fuck it, they're $10/month, I can try them both! Honestly though, I do think that's the better way to decide which one is for me. I mean, only I can decide which box is better suited for my needs. I can see how they trend and decide from there if I want to continue on with one or both. (Both of those links, btw, are my referral links in case any of you decide you want your own monthly beauty boxes. I get referral points, natch.)

Anyway, at the very least, I will have fun sharing my boxes each month on LJ, and either being excited about them or bitching about what a total waste of money it was. :)) So you got that going for you.

If I'm being frank, my daughters are assholes.

I know, I know, I don't post for months, and now I won't shut up. THAT'S JUST HOW I ROLL.

It's especially how I roll when I'm into a TV show and I've just finished watching what's aired so far.
