Had a great time with belcantin at Mistral Kitchen last night. I love the food there though it's got this super-trendy thing going that's not really my scene. There were two couples who sat on either side of our table who looked like they lived in LA (I would know) and were about to go to an after party. I took a number of photos (of the food, not the celebrity-esque couples), but it's always hard to take food shots in a restaurant. :/ We'll see how many of them actually came out. Appropriately, I'll be posting them to food_porn.

This weekend is going to be sadly short and boring, I suspect. The weather is supposed to suck. K. is out of town, so D. emailed me, going, "Hey, while K.'s gone, want to come over on the weekend for lunch or something?" Which I translated to, "OMG PLZ COME HELP ME WITH THE KIDZ KKTHX."

Oh, but thank goodness there's a new Merlin tomorrow.
