diets suck
May. 12th, 2004 11:35 amI watched two movies last night. And I didn't even get kicked out of a theater. Unlike some people of my acquaintence.
In America - So bloody sentimental, and not in a good way (because God knows I like being sentimental). The kind of movie that tries too hard to be deep. Loved Djimon Hounsou, though. The youngest daughter fluctuated from being really cute and really annoying.
Girl with a Pearl Earring - Loved this. I don't know what it is w/ Scarlett Johansson making movies where she's the Pretty Young Thang attracting older men, but between this and LiT, GwaPE gets my love and thumbs up. Hated the stupid wife. And the stupid kid, who I couldn't even tell whether s/he was a boy or a girl.
I am attempting to be more healthy in my eating choices, mainly because the high cholesterol thing frightens me. I just picture my veins getting all blocked up with fat and it freaks me out. Poor little red blood cells, it's getting harder and harder to navigate through the ever-narrowing passageways, isn't it? *sniff* When I was poor, working on the Hill for a measley $23K/year, I was soooo healthy. I couldn't afford red meat, so I didn't eat it, and I had to walk everywhere because I couldn't afford a car (plus D.C. is v. pedestrian friendly). Now I eat way too much red meat because I lurve it so. It must stop. *weeps* ( So here is the meal plan: )
