1. Charlie's Angels II: It was even sillier than the first one, and the plot was even more convoluted, if that is possible. And there was no Sam Rockwell. Yet -- it was just as fun! Some parts are so crazy, how can you not laugh??? I these movies! And Demi Moore rocked. They all rocked. Er ... if you'd like a far better review of this movie that quite disturbingly fleshed out every thought I had about the characters/actors/plotline, go read [livejournal.com profile] _lore's LJ.

The Hulk: I really, really liked. It was better than I expected it to be. And I did actually have expectations for this one, since it was directed by Ang Lee. It wasn't Spider-Man, but in some ways, it was better. It had one v. simple theme, and there wasn't a lot of plot progression. But damn, this movie and others like it are what make fan fiction necessary, that's what I'll say. I Eric Bana, and Jennifer Connelly is fine since A Beautiful Mind.

Both movies had cameos that I wasn't expecting, but was delighted by nonetheless. Or maybe because I wasn't expecting them. Don't read further if you don't want to know who they were! (Highlight to see.)

Charlie's Angels: Bruce Willis!!!!!!!!!! OMG @ how good it was when I realized it was him (and that was embarassingly quick -- from just one line; I hadn't even gotten a proper look at him yet, and anyway he looked v. different). And considering Demi Moore and all ... well, it just rocked.

The Hulk: Gavin from AtS!! Bwahahahhaha. I don't remember his real name, but that's who it was. There was some tittering in the audience, so I'm convinced they knew it was him too! After all, what the heck else has he done?

And finally saw Far From Heaven, which I enjoyed, but the movie was far less ... dense ... than I thought it would be. If that makes sense. There weren't v. many layers to it, which surprised me considering all the critical acclaim that it got.

2. Have ordered waaaaay too much stuff off the internet the past few days. Many books and CDs and such. However, the one really good thing that I got was a DSL router, which supposedly will let me connect both of my computers to my DSL line. That would rock.

3. A loverly fan journal for [livejournal.com profile] triumvirate has been created. If you're at all interested in discussing the goings on of the RPG w/ others, it's called [livejournal.com profile] triology.

4. I have been playing w/ various Photoshop tutorials found on the Web. My latest thing is making over people's photos. Hee! Technology is amazing! Though I will never again believe those "before" and "after" photos that companies use to advertise their products. It was always rather suspect, but now that I can do it, it's a whole new thing.

5. </td><td valign="top">You are a geek liaison, which means you go both ways. You can hang out with normal people or you can hang out with geeks which means you often have geeks as friends and/or have a job where you have to mediate between geeks and normal people. This is an important role and one of which you should be proud. In fact, you can make a good deal of money as a translator.
Normal: Tell our geek we need him to work this weekend.

You [to Geek]: We need more than that, Scotty. You'll have to stay until you can squeeze more outta them engines!

Geek [to You]: I'm givin' her all she's got, Captain, but we need more dilithium crystals!

You [to Normal]: He wants to know if he gets overtime.
