God, I am so bored.

akscully. As those close to me know, algebra was my favorite kind of math, and there was a lot of algebra here. But I surprised even myself! To be perfectly honest, I wasn't sure about two of the answers (they were two that didn't actually involve problem solving). But yay for guessing!
This next one was stolen fromropo. I liked it because it's one of the more unusual quizzes I've seen, and who doesn't like dice?
You are the large, round, friendly d20! (You probably didn't know this, but the shape of the twenty-sided die is called an Icosahedron.) You are the friendly, outgoing, outspoken, leader of friends. You are often looked up to, even though you don't normally deserve it. Most other types secretly wish they were you, and you'd give them tips on how, if only you had a clue yourself. I forgot to mention earlier that I made my mom cry last night. I didn't mean to! I'd just been trying to feed Talis, and he wouldn't eat. He kept looking around, probably wondering where my mom was. When I told this to her, she unexpectedly burst into tears! I had thought to make her feel glad that he missed her, and instead she was sad. Oops. And of course, right after I hung up with her, he ate every bit of kibble in his bowl. He's so the devil.

Also, in the dice quiz, when it's over there's a link to a place to buy dice and it looked pretty groovy. All kinds of marbly pretty dice!

Date: 2005-11-03 11:34 pm (UTC)I believe the ^ was to signify a square. So 5^2 is 5 squared, i.e., 25. Well, I suppose it must have been that, or I wouldn't have gotten that answer correct. :)) Unless it was some kind of weird thing where you could get to the same answer multiple ways...
I've got my Las Vegas dice and that's all I need. Momma needs a new kate spade sample sale bag!

I'm itching to write VM fanfic, but I've banned myself from it until I finish all the stories I'm obligated to write. (They're all HP related.) I fear that if I start writing VM fanfic, I may ne'er return.
The Xterra is actually a v. interesting choice of vehicle for a pampered rich boy like Logan. According to Nissan's Web site, the base price of the best model is ~$26K. Even if Logan tricked his all out (which I assume he'd do), we're still probably talking about a car under $40K. Downright modest of him. I've always wondered if it was a limit Aaron drew, or if Logan himself has a streak of the low-key about him. That boy is a mystery wrapped in an enigma.

You are a four-sided die, a d4. Otherwise known as a tetrahedron, a "Caltrop", or (to a lesser degree) "Ol' Pointy". This crap bores you, so I'll get to the point. Others tend to see you as petty, conniving, manipulative, argumentative, defensive, greedy, and needlessly antagonistic. You see yourself as focused, effective, efficient, influencing, shrewd, tactical, and direct. Both points of view are in fact correct. You always know the best way to get things done, a fact that never wins sympathy with others. Whenever you manage to gain control of a situation, your solutions are swift and brutal.
