commentary on new HP cast picture

Okay, have just seen this cast picture.

1) Is it just me, or is Bonnie Wright looking hot?! She looks a) really, really good for the first time ever; b) better than Emma Watson in this photo, because Emma's clothes need serious help and it's not one of her better shots (normally there'd be no comparison).

2) Why do all these British boys, with the exception of the Slytherin trio, seem to think that it's the 1960s? What is with the HAIR?

3) Why does Tom Felton's hair look like a weird green afro? Though I prefer it to the shaggy looks the other boys are sporting.

4) I'm a bit annoyed with the kid who plays Seamus, because he's covering up hot!Goyle. From what we can see, Goyle looks pretty good, though. :D Also, if Seamus weren't there, 'Draco' and 'Ginny' would be next to each other. HEE. Damn that Seamus.

5) Daniel was looking hot to me until this photo. The hair - blech. The ROLLED-UP JEANS: NO. And the height is now not helping matters. I thought he was taller than that. Now he's reminding me of Frodo.

When I think back to some of the things I used to wear... *shudder* But you know, you'd think they have fashion consultants and what not, or at least could pay for one. Yeah, I actually don't really mind the boots, either. At least they go with the outfit ... sort of ... And they look cute on her. Which is the most important thing. I don't mind Emma's footwear, either. It's the rest of it that I have such issue with.

Her mom is Sheila Teague and her dad is Gary Wright. They are oh-so-trendy jewelers in London.

*g* Well, I wish I could take credit for being sneaky. The truth is, I was flipping through the magazine on the plane and thought "Hee. That little girl looks like Ginny." *flips another page* "OMG, it's uncanny. She'd be the cutest little Ginny." I was actually on my way back across the pond before the name "Wright and Teague" clicked, and then I read the kids names in the article *blush*...so, it was dumb luck.

I made those scans and sent them to mugglenet, but I was REJECTED! SHUNNED by mugglenet for the unnewsworthiness of my find!

I think it was anti-Slytherin bias!

It's terrible, but I'm crushing slightly on Percy. I actually like his hair... and I love the clothes. *sigh* I'm such a geek sometimes.

Not crazy about Emma's clothes, but I think she'll eventually have good style sense. She's not afraid to wear what she thinks it cool - even if it's not. :D

You know what, it does my heart good to know that they are not being shunned by absolutely *every* one out there. So kudos to you for being the one they can turn to. :D

It would have been nice to see Oliver there. He might have been the only Gryffindor whose hair I approved of. And I might have more faith in Emma eventually dressing well, if only I could be sure she won't continue to think that what she currently thinks is cool, is cool. :))

The kid who plays Seamus is always glommed on to Bonnie in these pictures. :-L And yeah, Dan looks like a midget. A midget with earmuffs made of hair. Bonnie is totally becoming beautiful, which is cool. If one were an obsessive fangirl, one would even notice that she's a good height, comparatively, with Tom Felton. Y'know, if someone was obsessive. *cough* And OMG Crabbe is HUGE. The boy could be a siege engine. And check out Neville and Percy rockin' their bad selves. Neville could be really cute with a good haircut. The twins, though, carry the torch as the cutest, thanks in part to their being the only ones with completely unobjectionable clothing choices.

I wouldn't mind Seamus being glommed onto Ginny so much if only he were on the other side of her, so that she could be next to Tom as well. Is that too much to ask, Seamus kid?!

Bonnie certainly is getting to be a good height for Tom, which is something, as you say, that someone who were paying attention just might notice.

I'm just not down with the Neville love. He's got the bad British teeth, which is a serious turn off for me. That's why Dan and Tom are hunky.

I must disagree about the twins being the only ones w/o objectionable clothing choices. From what I can see, Tom has hands down the best outfit of the guys (I especially dig his jacket), though he might be usurped by Goyle if only I could see the boy full body. Goyle looks to be wearing a nice navy-shirt/coat deal, which is perfectly acceptable (even desirable!). :D Even Seamus's outfit wouldn't be too bad, if only it weren't for the giant gold necklace Amelia just pointed out to me. :p

I don't remember what Neville's teeth look like, but if they're bad, he's sadly off the potential cuties list. I can't stand bad teeth, which is a lot of why I'm so psychotically self-conscious about the huge gap in between my two front ones.

LOL! That's an excellent way of putting it. The guys seem to prefer these suit jackets that they wear with t-shirts and jeans. It's like, they want to look older, but don't realize that this doesn't mean wearing the clothing of a 45-year-old man.

I don't know if you've ever seen Family Guy, but every time I see this photo I keep thinking of something Chris (the son) wailed about in one of the episodes. I'm so going to have to dub it and post it later. :))

Bonnie is getting so adorable :) I don't even want to discuss what the Emma had on but I have one word for her: STYLIST!


I don't know what is up with the Gryffs - they seem to have just let themselves go. And yes, Goyle is a hottie...who would have thought it.

AND I'm so proud that Tom was wearing a tan polo jacket (still not his best color), but at least it wasn't white!

Even if Tom were dressed in white, at least he's shown in the past that he has slightly more style sense than the rest of them (or maybe he has a fashion consultant/lets his mom dress him). He looks v. fit in those trousers. :D

Here's what I love...I love Percy's hair. I just want to jump all over him. And can we ever have a pic where Rupert is looking at the camera? I'm glad I'm not the only one in the Goyle closet, too. Also, I think the twins are the hottest because of their great smiles. Here's some food for thought, though...if we assume everyone is standing on a level surface, the twins must be 6'6" or more, because Tom is supposed to be 6'1", because if I remember correctly, he got so much taller than Jason Issacs they had to fudge with the filming.

Tall boys= good. Tall twin boys with shaggable smiles=priceless.
