Okay, I am thrilled to have placed in [livejournal.com profile] sunshinefanfics's fic contest, which was a blast to participate in. Many thanks to Samantha for sponsoring the contest, and to [livejournal.com profile] gdye_trauda for the gorgeous banner.

If you'd like to read it, I've posted the story in a back dated entry: ( Moonlighting, Ginny/Draco, Ginny/Harry, Rated NC-17 ) -- or you can read it at FIA.

As you can see, underage folks should get older before they click on either link. :D

I've had such fun participating in these fic contests (including [livejournal.com profile] kirixchi's for Toujours Pur) that I'll be holding one of my own. :D Stay tuned for details (and in the meanwhile think of a 1,500 word D/G fic to write)!

I've finished all the Bridgerton books. I ended up liking When He Was Wicked far more than I thought I would. I got some of JQ's earlier books, and ... well, they're pretty painful. She herself says in the introduction that her writing wasn't as polished then as it is now, and I must agree wholeheartedly. :p

I've started to watch my Sports Night DVDs, and I absolutely adore Josh Charles (have ever since Dead Poets Society, in fact). Why doesn't he have a love interest or even the hint of one (so far)?? I'd so go for Dan over Casey. <g>

I like Josh Charles too. There's just something appealing about him. How far are you into SN? I have the DVDs here too and haven't watched them yet.

I'm about 6 or 7 episodes in, so not that far. I've liked the storylines, even if sometimes they're a bit overdramatic/preachy, and sometimes the acting can be quite bad. <g> The only real beef I have, though, is that so far I find the female characters wholly uninteresting. No wonder people ship Dan/Casey.

Congrats! I've left a review for Moonlighting on the Archive. Wonderful stuff, as per usual :)

Congrats on the win! Am going to read now. And I think your post got a bit messed up -- did you finish "When he was wicked"? Because if you have, I want to ask you something.

And OMG! I thought I was the only person alive who adores Josh Charles -- and yes, it's been from DPS.

I have learned from LJ that I'm never really alone in anything. :)) I even watched that terrible movie Threesome several times because of JC.

Thanks for pointing out the messed-upness of my post. D'oh! It's been fixed, and yes, I did finish WHWW. Ask away! :D

Oh, I just wanted to know what you thought of the last line -- "Thank you for letting my son love her first" -- that's the one that made me cry on the plane!

And you are disgustingly evil with your new D/G feast thing. Like I don't have enough to write already...

Not to get too spoilery on you, but it will become clear that Danny has issues establishing intimacy with women, which of course, just fuels the Casey/Dan shipperdom even more ;)

But, oh yes, Josh. Charles.

And as frustratingly problematic as SN occasionally became, I can but thank it for helping me fall in love with Joshua. Malina. Too.
