Forget the het vs. slash in fanfic discussion. That's nothing. One idiot being an idiot.

But what the fuck is this? Legalities aside, I simply can't believe this sort of thing still happens and is acceptable. I guess I'm just naive. Whatever. I have a headache from disappointment in humankind now.

Dude, I know. I was totally in shock when I read this last night -- it's stunning to imagine that there's a place in our country where this not only takes place, but seems "acceptable" to such a large number of students. They think it's okay -- more than okay, necessary.

That just goes to show how oblivious some are in foreign climes. Here in Britain, no-one would conceive of having segregated proms. (Not that we have them anyway, but still).
