Good lord -- you were right, [livejournal.com profile] liss1224, you miss a day of LJ and you miss out on all the crazy things that happen. Well, "crazy" in a v. general sense. <g> [livejournal.com profile] clarabella21, I hope this experience hasn't soured you on giving constructive feedback or honest critique. It would be truly a shame if all this resulted in you or anyone else deciding that giving anything but sugar-coated feedback (if even that!) isn't worth the hassle. I did follow all the threads (thanks for the one-stop shop, [livejournal.com profile] msscribe <g>), and imho there wasn't anything I felt you did wrong or should have done differently. Anyway. Everyone else is dropping it so I'll just stop here.

And btw [livejournal.com profile] infinitus -- which guy from American Pie? Do you mean Seann William Scott, the guy who played the rich jerk who they all were only friends with because he had a house on the lake? I ask because that's not the look-alike I was thinking of, but another of my RL friends guessed him, and since I've never thought about it myself, that would really trip me out. <g> FWIW, my first thought (and Jade's as well) was Scott Wolf. But people either see it immediately or they don't see it at all. Not that any of this matters ... I was having fun w/ my scanner and all the old pictures I found from moving my things up from LA. <g>

I just love Finding a Friend by Tikal, which was recently updated. It's probably the most canon Draco I've ever read (in a D/G story), and it makes me giggle. Jade and I are also reading AngieJ's Trouble in Paradise, and I hope we finish it before she leaves. I've had it printed out for the longest time, but it's taken me this long to get around to it. Bad me. Maybe because I know there's a sequel and it's a WIP, and the last time I did this was w/ the Draco Trilogy, and look at what a mess I am wrt that.

Yesterday while procrastinating over an article I was supposed to be working on for, you know, my job, I got an idea for a(nother) smutfic. Of course while I was supposed to be doing something else it was all I could think about; now, when I've got some time, I'm like, "Eh." Isn't that always the way of it.

Yeah. Stiffler from American Pie. He's a dead ringer. Quite yummy indeed. :P
