I bought a live crab today, and slaughtered it according to my mother's tried and true way of steaming crab. Unfortunately, the fact that it was supposed to die after I peeled back the head/shell escaped the crab, who flailed around traumatizing me for several minutes while I pondered how I could possibly kill it when opening its head didn't work.

It just figures that I would get Indestructible!Crab the first time I ever attempted anything like this.

Aieee! How traumatic! I would have cried. Or maybe run around like a totally spaz, flapping my arms and squealng. It's difficult to say. *g*
