Beauty boxes for June 2017

All of my July boxes just arrived, so it's time to take a look at June's! Because I'm perpetually behind!
Birchbox
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray: Well, I love Oribe products, so of course when this was one of the "choose 1 of 3" options, of course I had to go for it. If I didn't, they'd probably saddle me with one of the other two as part of the mystery box. That's the one thing I don't like about Birchbox; while I can't say for sure this happens every time, it seems to me that whenever I don't select anything from the "1 of 3" I always get one of them anyway -- it's not 5 totally different things independent of that. So every month, I generally always pick 1 of the 3, because why wouldn't I? They don't give you a good reason not to make a selection and have a full mystery box.
Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel-Cream: Kiehl's, you're going too far. Is it a gel or a cream? IT CAN'T BE BOTH. But whatever, I like Kiehl's, and I like a good moisturizer, which I assume is what this is, when it comes down to it.
COOLA SPF 30 Rosilliance Organic BB+ Cream: UGH NO MORE BB FREAKING CREAM.
Manna Kadar Cosmetics Eye Candy Priming Shadow Stick in Honey: So. The story behind this one is that the stick thing was movable within its sealed plastic, so it got turned and the shadow stick was totally smashed. It's not unusable; I was able to salvage it -- kind of -- but it's really irritating nonetheless. I didn't bother asking for a replacement because I didn't think they'd do it without a lot of hassle, and frankly, I had a lot of other things going on so forgot. When I was cleaning it up, though, I discovered that I actually really loved the color. So yeah, now I'm even more annoyed that the sample got messed up!

Overall thoughts: Other than the blush, which I don't care for (because I don't care for blushes in general, not specific to this blush), this was a pretty strong box from Ipsy. I'm not really a blue nail polish person, but the other option was this kind of hideous coral, so I'll live with what I got.

Overall thoughts: Kind of a weak showing. I like the Verb Sea Spray, and the Kat Von D lipstick is in a color I'm not opposed to. Otherwise, it was a box of meh for me. The Klorane dry shampoo is a sample I've gotten before -- I think from Birchbox -- and I have full-sized versions of it from Costco.
Winner this month: Ipsy! It had the most stuff I would actually use, that didn't get ruined before it even got to me. Yep, that's the bar now.
