Another meme! Done because [livejournal.com profile] hannah_kim willed it so.

If you had to live in one of the TV shows that you watch, which would you pick and why?

Certainly not Buffy or Angel, unless I could be a Slayer or the daughter of two vampires. Too dangerous! Nor Alias, because it's frightening to think that I live in a world where something like SD-6 could grow and prosper right under the CIA's nose. Not Sex and the City, either, because that would mean that all the women in the world were complete whores. Come to think of it, I wouldn't want to live in any TV show's world, because their worlds are infinitely more dangerous, which has to be the case to give the protagonists something to do.

But for the sake of picking something, I'll go with Friends. Because Chandler Bing should be a real person.

Name a song you wouldn't mind being about you/ written for you/ to you.

Still Remains - Stone Temple Pilots

Our bed we live our bed we sleep
making love and I become you
flesh is warm with naked feet
stabbing thorns and you become me...
oh I'd beg for you you know I'll beg for you.
she holds my hand we share a laugh
sipping orange blossom breezes
love is still and sweat remains
a cherished gift unselfish feeling...
oh I'd beg for you you know I'll beg for you.
she tells me things I listen well
drink the wine and save the water
skin is smooth, I steal a glance
dragonflies are gliding over...
oh, I'll beg for you - you know I'll beg for you
Pick a song and sing a yellow nectarine
take a bath, I'll drink the water that you leave
if you should die before me
ask if you could bring a friend
pick a flower, hold your breath
and drift away...

I know; aren't I sick?

Who would you rather interview, Princess Diana or Mother Teresa - and why?

Princess Di, because I'm completely frivolous that way. And because I'd feel a lot more comfortable during the interview and not leave feeling like shit. Of course, I'd be frightened to interview either at this point.

Who would you rather interview, Tim Burton, Richard Curtis, Roman Polanski or Kevin Smith - and why?

Kevin Smith, because he ROCKS. He seems like someone I could be totally at ease with, even if I did stand, embarrassed, off to the side whilst [livejournal.com profile] jade_okelani and [livejournal.com profile] ropo accosted him at Disneyland. Kevin Smith is so a fun guy you'd just like to know.

In your opinion, what is the best way to cook a spud? Baked, mashed, boiled, chips (fries), crisps (chips), salad...

Oh DEAR. I love the potato in all its forms. But I've gotta go with mashed as my favorite.

The World's Greatest Pizza Ever (tm) would include:

Pepperoni, mushrooms, broccoli, and jalapenos. What?

Favourite Beatles song:

My brain has nearly exploded from the question, so I'll just go with the tried and true "Until There Was You," because if I'd been a fangirl back in the day, Paul would have been my man.

Alcoholic drink you have the most?

I don't really drink much, as I'm such a lightweight, but I like girlie frou-frou drinks, like strawberry daiquiris. Ooooh, and Bailey's Irish Cream. Love that stuff.

Which would you rather be, secret agent or astronaut?

Secret agent, but only if I was a good one. 'Cause, you know, I don't want to die.

Which is your favourite Disney film and why?

Eeeeee, what's with all the hard questions??? It's a toss up between The Little Mermaid and The Lion King. I think I'll have to go w/ TLM because I don't like Simba once he becomes Matthew Broderick. And Prince Eric is hot.

And lastly, who would you rather sleep with; Rachel or Monica? (Just kidding, unless you do have an answer in which case fire away.)

Hahahahahaha. Rachel. There would be too much pressure with Monica. She'd get me all out of the mood.

I mean, um, no way. I'm not answering that.

I was chatting w/ Jade the other night, and I was (again) bemoaning the name JKR gave poor Ginny. I was like, "Why doesn't she just say that Molly's maiden name was Beasley and get it over with? Then she can be Ginny Molly Beasley Weasley." And then Jade made me the icon, sans "Beasley" because there wasn't enough room. But I know it's there.

Now aren't you glad you asked yourself these deep and meaningful questions? Your life shall now be more full and wholesome now that you know all this useless crap about yourself! *g*

Re: song of choice - Yes, I would say that was every so slightly disturbing. Add the pizza...

Re: Mashed Potato - Dood, but what kind of mash? Lumpy? Do you add creme fresh? With peas mixed in? You need to know this stuff for if and when you break your leg and they ask you for insurance purposes. It could happen.

Re: Prince Eric - And here I would have thought you would prefer Simba - what with him being young and blonde :P

Extended Q: Which is your favourite Kevin Smith film and why? *g*

And Chandler does exist, for he exists in the hearts and minds of all those who cherish sarcasm and utter dorkyness.Amen.

I can't help it if my song and pizza choices are beyond the grasp of mere mortals.

I like garlic mashed, smooth or lumpy, doesn't matter. I also prefer mashed potatoes not made by me, because I've never made them taste as good as they should.

I do like Simba when he's young and blond. <g> It's only when he gets older that I'm like, I'll pass. I don't know where I get this reputation from. I mean, most HP fandomers I know are guilty of perving over boys! :-l

Hmmm, my fave Kevin Smith film is probably Dogma. I don't like Linda Fiorentino in it, but everyone else is good. Most specifically, I love Matt and Ben. I think they work really well together, and when they're in a KS film, they're at the top of their game. I don't usually like Ben Affleck AT ALL, but his speech in the parking garage in Dogma is probably one of my favorite monologues of all time. Plus the movie has the best kind of irreverent humor, and seeming to make fun of spirituality, while supporting it all at the same time. That roxors. I'm not as big a fan of his older movies -- you know, the ones that he made his reputation on. I despise Chasing Amy. I don't know how anyone can sit through that movie with that girl talking through all of it.

I'm pretty sure its the whole Draco plus Spike *plus* Sark that gave you that rep. Although, really, they are all *completely* understandable.

And Dogma has to be one of my fave. films ever. A film where they start with a disclaimer to platypus enthusiasts, uses Alice in Wonderland as a reason not to have a religion and ends with Alanis Morisette playing God? They don't come much better than that really.

Neither Spike nor Sark are little boys!!!!!!!! Especially not Spike, who is as far from a little boy as you can get.

Dude, this was back in 2001. :D And I DID post about it!!!!! This is what I said:

Disneyland was fun, but only because of my freakish companions. Otherwise, it's so much LESS than from when I was a youngster. It used to really feel like a "kingdom" ... going from Fantastyland to Tomorrowland was this huge trek. But when we went (v. little people, we waited under 10 min. for every ride), we just went back and forth like it was nothing. It was cool because it was a bit different for Christmas ... but otherwise $43 for admission is highway robbery. In any case, there was not a boring moment to be had ... either Robbie was stalking Kevin Smith, Syn was screaming "We're going to die!!!!!!!," or Trix was taking cell phone calls while ON the Splash Mountain log (or else egging Syn on by yelling, "We've jumped the tracks!").

And then recently, Jade said:

Afterwards, Rob and I went our separate ways, and she called my cell to say she saw Kevin Smith standing outside the back entrance, and had yelled at him that she'd enjoyed the movie. I drove back and did the same, and he was very gracious from afar (just as he was when Robs and I told him we loved him at Disneyland that time). If I didn't feel so lousy, I might have troubled him for a picture (and perhaps told him that there were very few filmmakers who could have got me to see their movie when I feel like I have food poisoning), but in the end, yelling compliments seemed the best course of action all around.

Yes, your libel caused us both to go through our archives to defend our good names.

ok ok

The second comment I do remember. The first, however, I don't. I've slept since then. So there. PBBBBBT!

:) So I guess I'll let you slide. This time.
