Watching BSG S2.

- WTF are they doing with Lee and Kara? It's like, there was all this UST between them in the first season, then in the second season it's all about Kara missing Anders and Lee getting together with Dee (which, wtf? Where did that even come from? It was her/Billy from the very beginning!). There's a bit of Starbuck/Apollo but it's not really USTy or good at all like it was in S1... in S1 it was all about how they were unknowingly in love, and now it's just this emotionless sex stuff. Seriously why did they go there?

- Billy died. :( He wasn't my favorite or anything but I thought he was totally screwed over.

- I don't really understand Dr. Baltar's motives. Is he actually on the side of the Cylons? Why? Because 6 tells him that's God's purpose for him?

- I like the 6 that they rescued off Pegasus. Her natural hair color is so much better than that platinum blonde.

- And what's with her saying that Sharon/Helo's baby is her/Baltar's baby? WTF?

- Hated that "Scar" ep when Kat was being all prominent and super annoying. She needs to go away. She's like the Kennedy of BSG.

- I don't get why they have to find Earth as opposed to just staying on Kobol. It seemed nice enough and very Earth-like.

- I am so bored with Tom Zerek. I get that Richard Hatch was the original Apollo and all, but go away already.

- LOL omg that Apollo got promoted twice in the same ep and that he's now a COMMANDER. WTF? While poor Starbuck is only a Captain and that took forever (when Kat and others got promoted to Lieutenant ridiculously fast).

- Ooooh this ep looks really good -- it's showing us 6 and Sharon after they died, being reborn! Haha that Baltar is 6's shadow the same way she's his.

- So what's this prequel series Caprica? Not sure if that's compelling or not.

Tonight I made beer-braised barbecue shortribs in my cousin's pressure cooker. Using the pressure cooker always makes me nervous, like it's going to blow up. Anyway, they came out REALLY well. The beer braising gave the meat such a great flavor, and I was a big fan of the barbecue sauce recipe. Basically the ribs were braised in beer, water, and bit of cider vinegar for 25 min + natural release. Then I basted them in the barbecue sauce and baked for about 15 min, turning them once. SO GOOD! Next time I'll use a less fatty cut though.
