One True Pairing Ship
Draco/Ginny

Canon Ship
Harry/Cho, before JKR turned Cho into a blubbering twit; now I'm not sure I have a canon ship.

"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ship:
Draco/Hermione. Draco/Hermione. Draco/Hermione. Draco/Hermione. Draco/Hermione.

"You are one sick bastard" Ship:
Incest ships (particularly parent/child), most student/teacher pairings.

"I dabble a little" Ship:
Draco/Cho, Ginny/Oliver, Ginny/male!Blaise, Harry/Hermione, Ron/Hermione, Ginny/Tom, Draco/Ginny/Harry, Draco/Ginny/Oliver, Draco/Ginny/Tom

"It's like a car crash" Ship:
Harry/Draco

"Tickles my fancy but not sold quite yet" Ship
Fred/Katie, Hermione/one of the Weasley twins, Ron/Pansy, Ron/Luna, Lily/James, Snape/Lupin, Ginny/Lavender

"Makes no canon sense but why the hell not" Ship:
Um, Draco/Ginny?

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship:
I don't know about everyone, but these are the ones that people do like, but don't do anything for me: Harry/Ginny, Harry/Hermione/Ron, Ginny/Neville, Draco/Pansy, Harry/Luna, Ginny/Lupin, Sirius/Remus, Neville/Pansy, Dean/Seamus

"When all is said and done" Ship:
Isn't this the same as OTP? Don't make me say Ron/House-elves.

Don't make me say Ron/House-elves.

That's everyone's in the end 'ship. If you think about it, it's the only one that really makes SENCE!!!

So go ahead. Say it. Saaayyy iiittt.

I'm shocked. Shocked, I say.

Okay, not really, but I tried. I just wanted to say, uh huh, whooooooo was it that was saying my D/G Scout badge was going to have to be removed for a Draco/Ginny/Harry story? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Although now that you bring up the concept, D/G/Oliver. Interesting.

Hee. I totally don't understand the Sirius/Remus love either. That was always the part of [livejournal.com profile] triumvirate that I understood not at all. Why do people think their love is angsty? Why? My brain is just generally completely at odds with the SQ ships: R/Hr, H/G, D/P, and S/R, none of which make any sense to me in terms of why anyone ever wants to write fanfic about them because they bore me to tears.

And you're such an evil dabbler, no wonder I always thought that it was Jade that was the loyal D/G shipper of the two of you.

Reading and writing are two totally different things. I suppose that's not a good enough defense ...

Although now that you bring up the concept, D/G/Oliver. Interesting.

I am so going to write one, one day. How can I resist the power of G/O/D (thank you, [livejournal.com profile] nokomis)? I am but a lowly mortal.

Though this reminds me that I forgot to put Draco/Ginny/Tom. Must fix.

So, just so I know, when you say say D/G/H or G/O/D, are you talking all together, or a triangle? And does the order matter?

You're totally right re: the SQ ships (I don't think I was aware that S/R was one), that they're boring -- I also find them pointless/fruitless because JKR is going there, albeit taking time w/ it. For me, fanfic is a way to explore things I'm not given, whether in a book, or a TV show, or movie, or whatever. If the actual writer is going there, who am I to circumvent that, or try and predict it? It's going to be what it is, so what's the fun in that?

You know, it's weird, I consider myself a pretty strict D/G shipper, but I have had moments of weaknesses. But it's such a rare and inconstant dabbling that I really don't think it should be counted against me. :D

Separate, though H/D/O/G has a certain appeal, now that you mention it. It would be an extremely guilty pleasure, and Ginny would be damn exhausted afterward, but probably pretty satisfied all the same. (Because, of course, in my story, they'd be experimentally heterosexual, or bisexual. No girly!boys.)

Ginny's Gang Bang, eh? The hardest part would be coming up with a scenario in which it could happen. Still, I have faith in it being possible.

Dude, in a scenario like this, I would so not even go to the "how would this really happen?" place. I'd just get them going. Maybe right in the middle of it. Ginny thinking, "One down, two to go..."

And here I was, plotting in terms of "Okay, the four of them are trapped... A battle? An explosion? Maybe there was a quidditch match and something went horribly wrong? Anyway, they're trapped, doom and gloom, no chance of escape, there's no food or water and the air's going to run out... And so, start the fic with Ginny saying 'I can't believe I'm going to die a virgin', then go back and explain the circumstances, then flash back to all four guys are volunteering to help, and go from there."

Hahahaha, that would be awesome. However, if it's a war, maybe they'll have to repopulate the planet. See, this is actually about the survival of our species. The sexual activity they engage in is actually a selfless act of humanity. Mankind is lucky that the last remaining woman on earth is a Weasley.

Hehehehehe. We're completely deranged, I think. But it's fun.

And then eventually Harry and Oliver would become disgruntled, because Draco's superior Malfoy genes would make it so that all Ginny had were little pink-haired babies all the time, so they'll demand alone time with her, and Draco has to make due with one of them until she's for sure carrying a dark-haired child.

Of course, five years later when they're rescued off this desert island, there's going to be an awful lot of explaining to do.

Amen sister. I agree with you ocmpletely, but you already knew that. :)

I consider myself a pretty strict D/G shipper, but I have had moments of weaknesses.
I'll pray to the gods of fire & ice to forgive you, and the others who trespass into temptation. Ohmmmmmmm.
