I'm sick. :(

I am sick. So very, very sick. Whether it's a cold or the flu, I have no idea, I've never really known the difference. Whatever it is, it's the worst I've ever had it. It started on Wednesday, just general fatigue and not feeling top notch. It really hit hard Thursday evening, and that night all the way through Friday night was really bad, my entire body hurt, along with the usual other symptoms of flu. Today, thank god, the body aches are gone, though I still have a sore throat, cough, and congestion. I haven't been sleeping well the last few nights due to constantly waking myself up coughing. I bought some Nyquil (well, Walgreens' version of Nyquil, which has higher doses of the same active ingredients as in Nyquil) and am so looking for the purported drowsiness factor that will knock me right out. Give me some of that please. I probably should have gotten it a lot earlier but the idea of getting out of bed to do anything was just too overwhelming.

The one good thing about this nasal congestion is that I can't taste anything, including the medicine I just took. Of course, it sucks because I can't taste anything else either.

I really, really hope that this all mostly clears up by the time Thursday rolls around, because I have dinner plans w/ my cousin that I don't want to miss. Plus on Saturday corianderstem and I are supposed to go see Avatar on IMAX and go to Serious Pie afterward. I looked it up, and supposedly I am contagious "a day prior to developing symptoms and up to five days after developing symptoms." So no one I know is really in danger of getting it from me other than S. I will feel super bad if S. gets this from me, because he's got a lot going on right now and it will stress him out really bad. :/ Still, A. -- let me know if you'd rather delay another week or so.

So much for flu vaccines. -.- I got the seasonal flu vaccine *and* the H1N1 vaccine and I'm still flu-y! Grrr.
