The cleaning = 1/4 done. They are coming at 10pm. I really, really hope they'll be late. My procrastination has bitten me in the ass once more, as it turns out that the little carpet steamer thingy needs to be charged for at least 24 hours before use, and, well, I do not have 24 hours. I think what I'll do is give Kim and Dan my bed (since it's a king), and I'll sleep in the smelly guest room. But this means that I still have to 1) clean the bathrooms; 2) do the laundry/make the beds; 3) vacuum; 4) mop; 5) dust; 6) remove spots from carpet (OMG I have found the best thing EVER ... you spray it on and rub it around and spots literally disappear. Whoever created it should get into Heaven, no problem). *weeps* It's times like these when I have to seriously consider hiring some kind of housecleaning service. I love cleanliness; I just hate to clean. And I wish I were tidier, and didn't have so much crap.
One of the things Kim wanted to do was to get a massage, but she told me that kind of late, so by the time I called my health club today the only appointments they had in the morning were for 8am and 9:15am. I didn't book either, in case something fell through (if you cancel in less than 24 hours you have to pay for the massage anyway). Instead, if she really wants to get a massage, we'll just do a walk-in. The 8am one shouldn't be a problem. I haven't had a massage since last year! Oh woe is me. I certainly haven't had one since my health club renovated the spa area. Would be nice, though 8am on a Saturday ... O_O My favorite masseuse there was Danny, but I'll bet he's not one of the 8am-ers. *sigh*
Then Kim and Dan are going to their friend's wedding rehearsal, so I should have the rest of the day to myself to WRITE. W00t!
