Do not read this if you have a weak stomach. *feels queasy*

Watched T3 and Pirates of the Caribbean this weekend. T3 I only saw because Jade wanted to know what I thought of it, and it was pretty much what I was expecting. I didn't particularly like it, but I didn't particularly not like it, either. The parts I liked I felt cheap for liking. <g> The odd thing is that like this season's AtS and OotP, it seemed to be more of a set up for further mythology than an individual achievement piece. Like everyone else, I loved Pirates. I liked the little girl in the beginning, but once she grew up I was pretty much done with her. I know she served a role and what not, but she was just so ... bland. The typical heroine who has no interesting characteristics other than freakish beauty (the little girl was cute and had character; the grown-up Elizabeth was like some perfect version of Winona Ryder). It was allll about Jack and Will. Well, more about Jack than Will, but Orlando's just such a cutie. And the Jack/Will friendship (or more, if you're so inclined) was the best part(s). I never thought much of Johnny Depp until Sleepy Hollow, when he changed my mind about him; now it's official that I adore him.

Saw surprisingly few previews. Hidalgo twice -- and can I just say how glad I am that Viggo does less than nothing for me, so I don't have to sit through this movie? I can wash my hands of the whole sorry mess. People and animal flicks are not my thing. The Whole Ten Yards -- it looks terrible. But I have to see it, because of my love of Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry. <g>

Jade and I have been working on IYOK the whole weekend, and I only have one more part to write for chapter three! W00t! She has a couple of parts left, but she writes infinitely faster than I do. It looks like we'll be able to post at least by this weekend. (She'll probably kill me for jinxing us by giving out specific timing, but she's asleep and can't stop me. Hahahhahahahaa.) Oh, I'm crazy. And look, proof!

Your pirate name is:

Mad Jenny Cash

Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. You're musical, and you've got a certain style if not flair. You'll do just fine. Arr!

I've decided that it's all about Will/Elizabeth/Jack.

Triumvirate has rotted my brain.

Yes, I'd totally be all about that, too, if I found Elizabeth even slightly more interesting than I do. As it is, I invite any female to stick herself in there. Just Mary Sue it baby!
