Am still in L.A., but I saw this on mynuet's LJ and I LOVE it! So I must do this meme. Will answer as I find a few minutes here and there to get online:

In brief: See King Kong, but only if you can sit through 3-hour artsy movies. I really liked it, but I'm not sure it's a movie I'd want to watch over and over again. However, you MUST see The Family Stone. It is WONDERFUL.

01. The first character I first fell in love with: Michael. He's such a woobie, how can you not??

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Lucille. She's such a bitch. But a funny one!

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Hmmm. I'm not that positive, since I haven't talked about AD with a lot of people. Cannot think of one. Tobias? But I can't imagine everyone loves him...

04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Lucille? I dunno who people hate.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Lindsay. I still like her, but not as much as I used to.

06. The character I would shag anytime: Michael!

07. The character I'd want to be like: Maeby. She has the kind of balls that I totally wish I had. That's how she gets away with everything.

08. The character I'd slap: Tobias. He can be incredibly annoying. Haha.

09. A pairing that I love: Michael/Lindsay ... but only because I don't really ship things on AD. I haven't actually read or written any M/L. :))

10. A pairing that I despise: Lindsay/Tobias. He's so not good enough for her. He's so stupid and dorky. And unattractive. I'm so mean to poor Tobias.

01. The first character I first fell in love with: Mulder. He just has that kind of "I'm so insane, you can't look away" charm.

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Reyes. I didn't like her when she first showed up, but that's because I didn't like anyone who wasn't Mulder and Scully. :D

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Krycek. I don't DISLIKE Krycek, but I just don't love him in that special way.

04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Mulder. Well, obviously, not everyone hates him, but there are a ton of stupid feminists who hate him and worship Scully. They're lame.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Pretty much, all the characters I loved (Mulder and Scully), I still love.

06. The character I would shag anytime: Mulder, of course.

07. The character I'd want to be like: Scully, because she's so smart and stuff.

08. The character I'd slap: This is a toss up between Phoebe Green and Diana Fowley. However, I'm going to go with Diana, because she made me endure her presence for many more episodes than Phoebe did.

10. A pairing that I despise: Mulder/anyone who's not Scully. :D

01. The first character I first fell in love with: Veronica. Most of the people her age were totally heinous, and the adults were kind of boring. So yeah, not much choice here.

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Haha, I don't know anyone who wouldn't say Logan. I mean, he was such an asshole! But now I lurve him. :D

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Weevil, I guess. I like Weevil, I just don't LOVE Weevil.

04. The character I love that everyone else hates: If Logan doesn't count (since I'm sure there are people who hate him, though not anyone I care to know), then I suppose it would be ... Meg? I don't know that people actually hate her, but she seems like the most likely candidate.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: At the moment, Veronica. I was done with her the way she broke up with Logan and took up with Duncan again so soon. :-l

06. The character I would shag anytime: LOGAN! Isn't anyone paying attention??

07. The character I'd want to be like: Veronica, because she's so spunky and always knows what to say/do. Also, because she tells people off really well and leaves them speechless. I want that kind of talent.

08. The character I'd slap: Celeste Kane. Well, she runs a very close race with Veronica's mom. I can't believe Logan's mom is the best mom on the show. O.o (Okay fine, there's Wallace, if you MUST get all technical.)

09. A pairing that I love: I love LoVe.

10. A pairing that I despise: V/D, because, who wants that?

01. The first character I first fell in love with: Ross. He seemed so sweet and was soooo endearing with his unrequited love for Rachel.

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: This is sooooo Joey. At first he seemed so stupid and vaguely sleazy that I couldn't possibly like him, but by the end, he was one of my favorites. So sweet!

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: JANICE. OMG everyone loves her and I find her to be the most annoying character evar!!!!

04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Julie. She always seemed like a really nice person to me, and it wasn't her fault that she got caught in the Ross/Rachel affair. But people always hated her because she was the first obstacle once Rachel realized her feelings for Ross, even though all of his girlfriends after her have been at least 10 times more heinous.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Ross. Well, I don't hate him or anything, but I definitely don't love him like I used to. He got way too high strung and annoying.

06. The character I would shag anytime: Chandler, because he is so funny!! And I love a guy with a sense of humor.

07. The character I'd want to be like: David the Science Guy (Phoebe's erstwhile boyfriend). He was just soooo nice and smart, though clearly naive. But I wish I could be that nice. :D

08. The character I'd slap: Emily. HATE HER.

09. A pairing that I love: I know I'm in a minority with this one, but Joey/Rachel. I also guilty pleasure ship Rachel/Chandler.

10. A pairing that I despise: Rachel/Joshua. I never thought Tate Donovan was cute, and he never really deserved her. Hmph.

01. The first character I first fell in love with: Harry. She introduces him very sympathetically, and he's such a good guy that I couldn't help but side with him immediately.

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Haha, DRACO. Man, that is seriously something I never would have expected while reading canon.

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Hermione, duh. Everyone loooooves her, and she does nothing but grate on my nerves.

04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Cho, for pretty much the same reasons I gave for the Julie character from "Friends." Everyone was against her from the start because they had their own preferences as to who Harry should end up with, and even though Cho was a perfectly nice and cool person (until OotP, of course), she was totally reviled in fandom.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Harry. I don't NOT like him or anything, but I am definitely not enamored of him the way most everyone else is. :D

06. The character I would shag anytime: Heehee, Draco. Even canon Draco, because then I could punish him for being so naughty! :))

07. The character I'd want to be like: Dumbledore, because he ROCKS. I wish I could be that all knowing and wise. And, of course, generous and full of love.

08. The character I'd slap: Umbridge. Though it wouldn't stop at slapping.

01. The first character I first fell in love with: Mal, I suppose. I can't say I was taken with any of them from that first episode. But Mal got me with the next one and his exchange with Inara: "What did I say about barging into my shuttle?" "That it was manly and impulsive?"

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Jayne. He seemed so iffy, you know, with the money grubbing and heartlessness and womanizing. The weird thing is that I wasn't wrong about any of that, but now it's all just endearing. O.o

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Kaylee. People loooove her, but I find her kind of irritating. I mean, I don't hate her or anything, but she's so not a fave character.

04. The character I love that everyone else hates: I don't think anyone hates any character on "Firefly," do they? Maybe I just can't think of one.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Book, I guess. I don't think I really ever loved him all that much, but I did used to like him more than I do now. I think it was the crazy hair episode that made me like him, haha.

06. The character I would shag anytime: Mal. But maybe Inara, because she knows what she's doing, that one.

07. The character I'd want to be like: River, only without the craziness. I mean, what's bad about being super brilliant and graceful to boot? But if she can't be separated from the insanity, I guess I'd choose Simon. I've always wanted to be all helpful with saving lives and things like that.

08. The character I'd slap: Fucking Saffron. I'd slap that bitch sideways.

09. A pairing that I love: Mal/Inara. I really hope they get to have their love story finished in Serenity or Serenity.

10. A pairing that I despise: Mal/Saffron. Ugh. I'm also not too crazy about Mal/Nandi. Okay, Mal/anyone who's not Inara. It's like Mulder that way. :D

Re: FS, yes, I agree to a certain extent ... but it was so well done that I have to forgive them for it. I mean, I have the same complaint of almost all rom coms, most of which I don't enjoy even before getting to the pat, easy ending, so give me a great movie with a feel-good ending and I'll just be pretty happy.

01. The first character I first fell in love with: Oh, Syd, without a doubt. More so than almost any other character, I think, she really grabbed me with how kickass she was.

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Sark. He just seemed like a weasley little punk at first. :D

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Vaughn. That's probably not a big surprise, as I haven't exactly kept my feelings about Alias secret. :)) I find that I actually miss him a bit now that he's gone, though.

04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Finally, I can actually answer this question with no thinking whatsoever! Lauren. People hated her, and I did too, at first. But by the end I really, really liked her, and was sorry to see her go.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Sadly, the answer here is Syd. She changed from the character I had first fallen in love with during the first two seasons. Now she just seems so weak, and kind of obnoxious and selfish. :(

06. The character I would shag anytime: Sark, though I'd have to watch my back the whole time. But maybe that's what makes him so sexy in the first place.

07. The character I'd want to be like: Irina. She kicked ass from the moment she showed up onscreen, and hasn't stopped. :D She's strong and wily and intelligent.

08. The character I'd slap: It would have been Vaughn pre-S5, but I'm going to go with Anna Espinosa. Oooh, that woman deserves a good bitchslap.

09. A pairing that I love: Non-canon, Syd/Sark. Canon, Weiss/Nadia. So cute!!

10. A pairing that I despise: Syd/Vaughn. I think my problem with Vaughn only had a little to do with Vaughn himself and more to do with the fact that they did their relationship all wrong. So yeah, hate the pairing.
