Usually by about 0.2-0.5 Kelvin. That's the reason, why you feel cold - because your body is warmer, so you feel the difference to the outside more. The same reason with alcohol: ethanol (which is alcohol) decreases your body temp and therefore you feel warmer yourself. Of course the chance of freezing to death in this state is much higher. And the decrease of body temp also slows the correct working of your senses - as fever (and yes, your period too) increase those ... Craving for chocolate: please show me any woman who doesn't long for it at those times (well, okay, who don't know about it and not the ones who don't like it - but there are few). I personally not only crave chocolate, but ice cream as well ... I get a bit tired, seldom bitchy, but a bit more impatient and people tend to get on my nerves faster ... :)
So it's all perfectly normal and functional .... :)
And it's a good way to distinguish if the current bf you have actually suits you biologically perfectly - if he still smells good: go ahead with the relationship. ;)
