i'm baaaaaack

i'm sorry i haven't updated in awhile. the thing is, my arm's in a cast right now -- an air cast, but still. turns out i've been playing world of warcraft too much, and those muscle pains i've been having in my shoulders took their toll. my doctor's forcing me to wear a cast thing to help that area heal, and also to discourage me from playing, i think. anyway it's a pain in the ass to type with it on, so i'm neglecting the shift key. sad thing is, it hasn't discouraged me very much at all, because i am addicted. last night we did the gnomergan instance, and with all the rest xp they've given us i lvl'ed to 36 ... only 4 away from being able to get my mount! so i am also being really frugal w/ my money so i can raise the funds.

hope you all are doing well ... i've only caught up with maybe the last couple days' worth of entries. now have to take some meds for the shoulder. but when i get home, more playing, w00t.

also i have been thinking about adopting a baby girl from china. my cousin just did it and i think maybe i'm ready to raise a child. i'm so maternal.

BTW, I wanted to ask, have you given up on the guild and just joined your brothers', or do you still want folks to play with?

Piffle and Magwyn's players only play those characters on Tuesdays, so if you do want signatures, bring Essia to Ironforge and coerce them into signing. I'm sorry I dumped them on you like that, but hubby was stuck and then I wanted to help him level a bit. *grins*

We haven't given up, exactly, but right now we're pretty happy where we are, so our petition's on the back burner. :D Plus I have many characters on Silvermoon, so they don't all have to be in the same guild (unless the game requires it for some reason). If you ever feel like joining up with another guild, it would be perfectly understandable. Otherwise, our sigs will be languishing on the petition for who knows how long. ;)

No worries re: Magwyn and Piffle, they were cool. We probably won't bother them about the petition at this stage (you are so awesome for thinking of us), but if we ever get to the point where we look like we're ready to go on the guild, we may look them up again and see if they're available.

I have created soooo many characters now it's not even funny. I don't know how I'm going to find time to advance them all. But it's really fun and refreshing to play other characters w/ different abilities, and different professions. It's really too bad you can't do all of them at once. Heehee.

So you have been playing video games so much...you have injured yourself? Bahahahahahaa! I guess I shouldn't laugh; I went through a phase where I was playing with my Gameboy Advance so much that I had near permanent neck pain (from bending over it while riding the subway).

Heehee... I hear you with video game injuries! My tendonitis in both my wrists flares up from time to time as a result of holding the controllers,etc. Anyway, I hope your shoulder feels better soon!!!

As for the baby thing... if you're ready, then I say go for it. I'm on a HUGE baby kick lately (much to the chagrin of my sweetie), so if babies are a possibility then... YAY!!! :-) It would truly be a wonderful thing for you to do that.

I'm so glad to see I'm not the only on my flist who's obsessed with video games at the moment. Me? I'm all about the Resident Evil 4 (http://www.capcom.com/re4/) love. Leon S. Kennedy is hawt.

WOW is cool. Not really an option while living on college with seriously restricted internet quota, though :D
