First Ipsy Glambag

So... I haven't gotten this month's Ipsy Glambag yet, but just like Birchbox, they sent a "Do you want to be spoiled?" email, and since I refrained from peeking with Birchbox, I decided to go for it with Ipsy. And my fear that this would jinx what was inside it (I DIDN'T SAY IT WAS RATIONAL) came true! :( I pretty much have almost no use for this month's bag. Booooooo.
Inside the bag:
- Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme
I love Too Faced. Their Shadow Insurance is awesome. But I hate lip plumpers. They do something weird to your lips to make them look fuller, but it feels all tingly and weird. Anyway, I'm okay with my normal lips, so lip plumpers are pretty useless to me.
- NUXE Moisturizing Mask Crème Fraîche de Beauté
I guess this is okay. I don't mind masks, but I also don't use them very often. Maybe I'll end up loving this.
- Coastal Scents Elite Bamboo Collection Medium Shadow Brush
I love brushes, and I love that it's possible to get them in a beauty box. But I don't wear eye shadow, and these are pretty cheap brushes.
- Befine Exfoliating Cleanser
This is the one I'm probably most excited about, because I'm open to trying a new cleanser -- in fact, I think using different ones is better than sticking to just one.
- Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Champagne Socialite
Again, I love nail polish, and I love that it's possible to get them in a beauty box. But the color for this one is horrid. It looks nice in the bottle, but I'm not convinced it will look good on me. It doesn't even look good on the hand model, and the whole purpose of doing a beauty shot like that is to show off the product in the most flattering possible way! I just noticed that it says it only needs a single coat because it's so opaque. If that's true, then maybe I could use this for nail stamping. I could see the color being good for accent designs.
These are just my preliminary thoughts. I know, just like with my Birchbox, some of these could end up surprising me. Time will tell!
