First Birchbox!

Here's what's inside:



So the second I saw the Oribe hair spray, I was instantly satisfied with my box. :))) It didn't even matter what else was in the box. September's Birchbox had already earned its $10.

I'm realllllllllllly glad I chose to get the mystery box rather than the "known items" box. Don't know what would have been in the 1 known item + 4 mystery items box, but it might've lessened my chance for the Oribe hair spray, so I'll also be glad I didn't go for that one.

The whole box contained:

- Oribe "Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray" (a hairspray) (1 oz, worth about $11)
- Beauty Protector "Protect & Detangle" (a leave-in hair conditioner) (1 oz, worth about $3)
- Hey Honey "Trick and Treat" (a cream concealer) (8 mL, $16 on their site)
- Air Repair "Complexion-Boosting Moisturizer" (a moisturizer) (7 mL, worth about $2.30... not too impressed with this one considering you can get it at Target)
- Laura Geller "Color Luster Lip Gloss" in "Cookie Dough" (a lip gloss) (0.1 oz, worth about $9.50) (I have no idea why this lip gloss is called Cookie Dough when it's a medium rose-brown. If your cookie dough looks like this you have some issues. :)) )

The cool thing is that I will use everything in the box; I don't find any of it totally worthless. :)) Seems like the overall value of the box is worth the $10, at least in terms of what they give you.

I also liked the breakdown of what they gave... 60% skin/hair care, 40% makeup.
