Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] nmalfoy!!!!!!!

Also, major hugs to [livejournal.com profile] msscribe, because she needs them and I loff her.

I am already starting to anticipate Linkin Park on the 13th. I found out who'll be opening for them: Story of the Year (unfamiliar with), and Hoobastank (like what I've heard of them) -- so I went and got those CDs, which will help me enjoy them more. Anyone ever seen either of these two bands in concert?

There's a meme going around where ask any question about a story I've written, and I'll answer you DVD commentary-style. If you've ever wondered about characterizations that I've chosen, plots (or lack thereof), motivation, what the hell I was thinking wrt a particular scene, or whatever else, ask and I'll do my best to answer as honestly as I can without giving storylines away w/ WIPs and such. Be specific or vague, but I tend to ramble if given the opportunity. As if you didn't already know that.

Squee! People actually *asking* to be bothered! I love it!
Ok, I have to know, Atypical Lesson, how did you think up the premises for it? I know you said it was a sorta-homage to an X-files fic (which I will admit to not reading), so then how did you come up with the idea for that one? I'm gonna guess (& hope) not a personal experiance...

In my head, I don't believe he ever does ... or at least, not for a long, long time. I think it's a secret that stays between Ginny and Hermione, something mutually agreed not to be shared. After all, it probably served as a catalyst for D/G's relationship, such as it was -- it altered the way Ginny saw Draco/their relationship, maybe gave her a little peace of mind, and she probably started acting accordingly, which Draco would then notice and affect his behavior, and so on and so forth. Not to mention what it did for H/Hr.

OR, in an AU from how it happens in my head: Yes, Ginny does tell him. Here's how the conversation went.

Draco: WHAT??? Are you mad? Why would you do something like that? Are you telling me that I'm going to have to deal with Granger being in love with me now? Because how could she help it?
Ginny: This room can't fit you and your ego.
Draco: I guess since we're being honest...
Ginny: What?
Draco: I've been ... well, I have these things, you see, where we can watch ... well. Have you ever heard of Muggle 'video cameras'? Quite useful, really...
Ginny: *castrates Draco*

The End

It's not a personal experience, as far as I know. :D The short answer to your question is, I'm really, really disturbed.

The longer answer is: I always find reading shipper fics very interesting coming from an outside perspective. That is, that a third party witnesses the romance between Character A and Character B, and tells the story of how that romance developed (or whatever). This usually doesn't involve sex. But I was lying in bed one morning (ideas usually come to me when I'm being too lazy to do anything about it) and thought, well, why couldn't it include sex? So thus, the XF fic was born. I had a lot of fun w/ that one, so when I started getting into HP fic, I knew I wanted to do something similar, though it was far more tricky making it work. You don't see a lot of 3rd POV stories in HP fanfic, which is a shame. This must be rectified! <g>

*dies*

That is pretty much how I thought it would go if she'd told him. Although, I'm surprised he didn't ask if Hermione could join them. He's ego is that big. :)

Thanks! You made my night.

Btw, much evilness is brewing in TW5!

*And the pieces of the puzzle all fall into place*

Aaah, now that I think of it, thats so right. Other people always pick up on the little cute things that 1st person POV or similar always take for granted. Well thats me quasi-deep thought for the day taken care of :).
