The last time my cell phone bill went over $225, I swore it would never happen again. My normal bill should be around $35. And I was good for several months, but I just got last month's bill and it's $100!! I just about had a minor aneurysm when I saw it. What makes me really steamed is that I could have used that $$ toward the next plan up, and overall saved money. Argh. Aarrrgghhh. So I've finally bitten the bullet and done it -- I have the next plan up and renewed for a year, so now I have free evenings (after 9pm, which is so sucky) and weekends. GAH. I am so LAME and annoyed with myself. Stupid cell phone.

Went to the dentist this morning. Have three cavaties! Eeep! I blame the Tootsie Pops that I love so. Another thing to be mad at myself about. No more Tootsie Pops.

Wouldn't it be lovely if I could cut out all of my bad habits? Of course, I'd never write fanfic again, and probably go stark raving mad. Most of my bad habits, then.

For you brave souls who expressed an interest in seeing my take on what Ginny's life might be like in a harem, if only she weren't actually Ginny Weasley, had no magical abilities, and had never heard of Hogwarts, you should be able to see it under a filtered post. Filtered, yes, because it's just far too embarrassing to make completely public. fearthainn, you should definitely write your haremfic, as you have an actual plot and it sounds really cool. My "vision" has no plot; it's just a scene out of a day in their lives, so is thus not really part of a larger story and why it's kind of a standalone vignette/cookie/drabble-type thing.

Fish and humans resemble each other in many ways. We have digestive, circulatory and nervous systems similar to those of other vertebrates. And fish need oxygen just like we do. But when we spend time underwater we must carry air with us.

What really makes a fish different is the respiratory system. The water that surrounds a fish contains dissolved oxygen in a ratio of about 5 ml per liter. Therefore they must have a system that can extract that small amount of oxygen out of the water and into their bloodstream. They use their gills for this, which are found between the mouth and the beginning of the gut or food tract called the pharynx.

*dies* You have no idea. It has a plot, it has character arcs, it has backstory...I've spent a shameful amount of time thinking about it. The only thing I haven't done is written it. ;) And I'm not going to! Not until DD is done! One project at a time!

I liked your snippet though, and you could totally expand on it! Heck, you could make it into an original story! Dude, that would be cool. (And yes, I too have a soft spot for stories set in that sort of...environment? Culture? I read too much Judith Tarr as a child.)
