Saw The Notebook. Am v. satisfied. Loved both Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams in their roles. All I wanted was a lovely, fluffy romance, and I was willing to accept a little cheese for it -- not a lot, but as long as it didn't overwhelm the goodness. I feared that the badness might supercede the goodness, but it really, really didn't. I was v. happy w/ the result (as well as the additions they made to the story from the book). Wheeeee!

Also saw The Stepford Wives. Love Nicole Kidman, love Bette Midler, love Jon Lovitz. So what could go wrong? Unfortunately, a lot. Terrible movie. Not terrible enough to castigate from here to kingdom come, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Am currently at work, which is not a happy situation, but the glow from TN has made it not so terrible a thing. :D
