I'm only on the first disc, but...

WTF is Julie's problem? What a brat. Poor Matt, he deserves way better.

Poor hormonal Tami ... just hope it's not postpartum depression, with Coach Taylor gone and all that would be really bad, and depressing for the viewers. Hope this Glenn fellow isn't going to try and horn in on Eric's woman. He seems OK so far though.

Ultra Christian Lyla? Oh please. I thought she was going to get more interesting at the end of S1 when she and Tyra seemed to make up. Thought maybe they'd Buffy/Faith it up. How cool would it have been if the two of them had been the ones to kill that guy?

Speaking of that guy, he so deserved to die.

WTF that Brooke Langton is now just boffing Tim's brother Billy. Sluuuuuuuut.

I LOVE Tyra's new hair. I'm ... waffling on the development between her and Landry's relationship. I think he's a sweet guy, and I like her, but the two of them together is kind of a disaster.

I've also started to like Jason more this season.

I think out of all the characters, Julie fared the worst with the "skip ahead 8 months" (or whatever it was) idea. They went straight to the incredibly bratty teenager stage with almost no explanation or progression.

At least the next door neighbor is boffing someone that's of age! That's something, right?

Yeah I think you're right re: Julie. I mean her behavior isn't totally out of line for typical teenage girl -- in fact it's right on target -- but it's so drastically different from how she was at the end of S1. I mean, the whole effing reason she pitched that fit to stay in Dillon, according to the heartfelt talk she had with her dad, was because she was finally happy -- and that was due to being in love with Matt. And her being so adamant about it probably helped Tami make up her mind to stay in Dillon also (on top of her own reasons), so basically it feels like the family was split apart for nothing -- like they were totally right to make the decision to move to Austin in the first place, because the feelings of a teenage girl are totally whimsical. Damn teenage girls!
