Saw Wedding Crashers. I had no desire to until I found out that Rachel McAdams and Isla Fisher were in it. <g> Isla was sooooooo cute!! She was Ginny! Well, Ginny if she were completely bonkers, but so Ginny. Jade and I DISCOVERED that girl. We found her on the net and used her images to represent Ginny as part of an RPG we were playing in (does anyone NOT know what I'm talking about?), and now her star is rising. W00t! I hope we see more of her; I think she's delightful.

Anyway, the movie. I went in expecting a stupid movie, and that's pretty much what I got. It was fun, and I was amused, so I didn't walk out of the theater feeling bitter (so don't go in expecting, well, anything). Vince Vaughn was in top form. The only forgettable role (and really, I don't see the appeal of him as a actor, period) was Owen Wilson. Not only is OW not compelling at all (and not attractive), but his character was just -- blah. I wish Bradley Cooper had played his role instead of being The Asshole Boyfriend, because then I might have understood why Rachel would want to be with him. Not to mention, they totally had to make Bradley an unredeemable asshole, because what Owen was trying to do? Totally dick move, not cool, etc. Rachel was wasted in this movie though; she has a lot of talent, so playing the generic female love interest really does her a disservice. Stop taking these roles, Rachel! Isla, on the other hand, not wasted. :))

I am in dire need of boxes. I found some in the supply room yesterday and was thrilled. I don't know how many boxes it's going to take to pack up my place. I'm thinking 100. Maybe 1,000. *headdesk* The thing is, there's probably lots of stuff I could sell on eBay or to used bookstores or what not, but it'd take me longer to sort it all out than just pack it all up and think about it later. There are moving companies that pack *and* move for you. I probably wouldn't want them to do that, since they'd probably just toss things around haphazardly, but in theory it sounds WONDERFUL.

All in all, I have to say that I have enjoyed playing Horde more than I enjoyed playing Alliance. The biggest difference is the people. Horde players are generally just cooler. That's not to say that there aren't dipshits or assholes in Horde, or that Alliance doesn't have cool people, because there are always exceptions, but so far Horde's just been a bit better.

I've been doing some PVP lately, mostly because I hit 40 and didn't want to lvl any more until my teammates had (so we could do lower lvl quests we still had and still get decent XP for it). Warsong Gulch is so fun! I was bummed, though, because I hit 41 while we were doing this one part of Scarlet Monastery, which put me into the next raid group up. Which meant that I was a baby, this lvl 41 priest with all these lvl 50 players. Wah. That was a really terrible group; there was lots of infighting and people not working well together and being glory hounds, etc. -- I'm so glad that wasn't my first WSG experience. Last night Jade and I participated in another raid on Tarren Mill -- it wasn't nearly as big as the one Issla and I did a few days ago, but we were pretty dang good. Not only did we beat them off, we went and raided Southshore! Mwahahahaha. That was tres amusant. Generally I've liked PVPing w/ Horde a lot more than I did w/ Alliance -- first of all, it's usually on our home turf so we get some guard help. Second of all, people are very open and cool about forming one big raid group, unlike with Alliance, where it seemed like you had to beg to join one. Third, the raid areas are very easy to get to, whereas say, Crossroads was totally out of the way for Alliance. And fourth, I don't feel bad at all when we kill Alliance or invade their town, because they're always the ones invading Horde towns and such (and plus there's so many of them). Whereas when I was Alliance, I always felt vaguely guilty that we were there to look for trouble. (Of course, I kind of like it when they do, because that's when the PVP action starts!)

Hopefully I'll have a rank when I log on today. :D I'm guessing I'll have at least Scout (though I wish that were rank 2 instead of Grunt -- which doesn't sound v. high lvl if you ask me). I've heard that it's basically impossible to get higher than that if you're under 50 (and esp. under 60). Not that I did so much I would expect a higher lvl, but you know, just saying. :D
