I'm soooo glad to see that many of us put HBP on our Love lists. Yay! While reading, there were so many little lines that I just lurved, but I think my favorite has to be:

"No, Draco," said Dumbledore quietly. "It is my mercy, and not yours, that matters now."

OMGSOGOOD. I don't understand how anyone could think that this man was pleading for his life later on. He so wasn't.

What was yours??

"There's no need to call me 'sir', Professor."

:))

Or "His hand closed automatically around the fake Horcrux, but in spite of everything, in spite of the dark and twisting path he saw stretching ahead for himself, in spite of the final meeting with Voldemort he knew must come, whether in a month, in a year, or in ten, he felt his heart lift at the thought that there was still one last golden day of peace left to enjoy with Ron and Hermione."

I just love the flow of that line and the Trio-ness of it.

I might've known you'd cheat with two quotes. :-l

LOL! at the one of Harry to Snape. I think I actually put my hand up to my mouth when I read that. And possibly hid under the covers for a second, in dread of what Snape would do.

I don't think of it as "cheating." I think of it as "creatively reinterpreting the rules."

I totally laughed when Harry said that. I didn't think he had it in him.

I loved the part when Fleur declared that she was beautiful enough for the both of them. :) I would put in the exact quote, but my aunt already scurried off with my book. Everyting's going good, if you're wondering. :p

I love that part! It actually made me weepy.

And I'm so glad to hear that things are going well. ;) I love your work. Keep in touch! *hugs*

I must agree with akscully. "There's no need to call me 'Sir' Professor." That was the greatest. I loved Harry's cheekiness in this book. He's finally got SOME bite to him, and he's not just an AYM.

My favorite is " "I am not worried, Harry," said Dumbledore, his voice a little stronger despite the freezing water. "I am with you.""

Best. Line. Ever.

Dumbledore rocks so much.

I think my favorite might have been when Harry was trying to get into the Room of Requirement and thought, "I need to see what Draco's doing inside you."
