Campaign to stay awake!

Okay, so playing WoW has been good for two reasons: 1) I haven't been spending a lot of money, because now I have no interest in going out shopping or eating at expensive restaurants or any of the other things I used to do to spend my well-earned cash; 2) I haven't been overeating, because I find WoW more interesting than my meals. So while I'm still eating regularly and fairly well, I just don't eat as much, because there are things I need to get done! I seem to only eat enough to make the distraction of hunger pangs go away, so I can concentrate on the game. <g>

The thing WoW has given me less of, however, is sleep time. Once I start playing, I don't want to stop. I think, "Oh, I'll just do one more quest." Or, "I'll just kill one more beast." Last night I ended up going to bed at nearly 5am. And I had to get up to work this morning!! :O I'm so completely insane.

So the point of this is, I am REALLY SLEEPY. If I thought there was zero chance of anyone interrupting me, I'd lay on the floor of my office and go right to sleep.

P.S. I still love food, though. And for some reason I've been reading a bunch of dining articles. Yesterday, I read this one about why a rare burger is the best kind, especially from a steakhouse, so for dinner I went to Outback and got a rare burger. And it was so. good!! (My toppings: bacon, sauteed mushrooms, grilled onions, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard.) However, let's take into account the fact that I typically like my beef cooked medium rare, anyway. I wouldn't necessarily suggest a rare burger to someone who likes their beef cooked well done.

And due to an article in the NY Times (found here) about "a California triple-crème pasteurized Brie-style cheese" that "won the top cheese award last month at the International Food and Drink Exhibition," I totally went to the Web site and ordered it. It was kind of pricey, but I love Brie. And here's what's written about this particular one: "Rouge et Noir also has more butterfat than the French cheese. But its mushroomy aroma is on the money, and when ripe, the cheese is nicely satiny and nutty tasting." Mmmmmmm.

P.P.S. I've changed a couple of the shows, because I realized that I don't even remember what some of the episodes are for them.

Jade DID mention that Gideon was playing WoW!! Haha, I bet he's not quite as obsessed as I am, either. What server is he on? Do you know what class he is (Jade mentioned he was Alliance, but I don't know if he's a hunter, warlock, paladin, or what...)?

First of all, I have to say these are really good guesses, not the least of which is because the answers change from moment to moment, really. However,I do have a master list of answers, and so I shall go by that.

1. ATY was in contention (Blue Skies is your fave ep <g>)
2. Yes! and, So Close
3. Yes and yes! Go with the limbing.
4. Yes ... and no. But this one's tricky because I think I once told you that it was not the 'best episode ever' and yet, reviewing the eps, it's the one that stood out the most. Maybe I should have picked the pilot.
6. Yes and ... you are correct, no. I really only love about 5 min. of "Hero" -- the rest of it is pretty blah. Plus I'm not a huge Doyle fan or anything. Only in memory. <g>
7. Monday! Oh how that should have been my answer. However, "Bad Blood" is correct. You know, if I hadn't seen it a billion times and put it on every XF list ever, I might not feel so lukewarm about it being on this list, also. :D
8. Yes, and no, although the finale was def. in contention.
9. No, and yes! Same re: EotW as w/ BB ... I wish it were something else, but no, it's just EotW. I think my fave character might surprise you ... I like Liz, but there's nothing to her. She's actually quite boring. But I do relate to her the most, and I like her.
10. No, and yes! Charlotte was my fave character at one point ... but at one point, they were all my fave character. :)) My current feeling on the matter is just what they happened to leave us with in S6. If they'd gone on, I'm sure another character would have risen to be my fave.

A number of these are definitely in contention to be on my favorites list, esp. #1, 4, and 7. You got #6 and #10 right! Woohoo. "Still Remains" has long been my favorite STP song, but over the years "Vaseline" has really stood up to the test of time. :D
